During Missy Elliott’s medley performance at the MTV Video Music Awards on Monday night, the rapper brought back dancer Alyson Stoner, who is best known for her killer moves on Elliott’s 2002 “Work It” video.
Missy fans will remember Stoner as that kid with the incredible attitude in her “Work It” video. Stoner’s clothes back then might have seemed baggy, but her outsize personality more than makes up for it.

Stoner, who’s 26 now, appeared on stage at the VMAs, wearing a bright yellow track suit and sporting a cropped ‘do, brought some fire moves.

People were full of all kinds of emotions upon seeing Stoner make her bold entrance onstage.
@cruzer87 also reminded viewers that when Stoner first appeared on “Work It,” people back then wanted to know everything about her:
“People don’t realize how big she was back when that video came out. Everyone was like who is that little girl killing it in that missy video?!?!”
Here she is in the original video. It won’t be hard to spot her.
Some couldn’t even believe it was her:
“Are you talking about the little girl she always had in her video’s dancing? If so that’s unbelievable, she was great!!” wrote @LeeC712.
She was, and still is.
