On October 1, celebrity photographer Elder Ordonez shared snaps of Kaia crossing a busy Manhattan street, and one look at the comments shows a fanbase thinking she's entirely too thin. Looking leggy in tight black leggings, Kaia showed off her lithe frame while enjoying a solo stroll. While the 23-year-old has always been slender, it would appear that fans think she's lost weight, and way too much of it.

Adding pops of white from her massive, over-ear headphones and socks, Kaia completed her look with sneakers, wearing her hair down and keeping her glam low-key with a simple matte makeup layer.

Clutching her phone in one hand, Kaia crossed the street casually, but there was nothing easygoing about the comments. In comments left to the photo slides, one user said:

"She's beautiful like her mum but she's wayyyyy too thin." Another called Kaia Gerber "unhealthy skinny," with a third suggesting that she eats nothing but baby food. Going sarcastic as they referenced her last name, the user said: "My God she must be living on Gerber baby food only."

Meanwhile, in a separate share showing Kaia's outing in video mode, users wondered if the super-skinny look was something that young girls online should even be exposed to. "Too skinny, sending a terrible message to young girls" was a comment gaining over 4,000 likes.

"It's body positivity unless it’s a skinny girl… cmon guys," another wrote, with a third saying that Kaia is suffering from anorexia. The leggy beauty has never confirmed suffering from an eating disorder. Her photos come as Hollywood embraces the 2000s skinny trend with full force.
