Speaking on her Let's Get Honest podcast, Kristin noted: “I just know, long term, he needs to experience life. He’s young and I started to feel the age a little bit just with life experience." She also confirmed that Estes "didn't do anything," stating that the romance ended “not because of love lost or something bad happened, no one cheated, no one was mean.”

Kristin also referenced Mark basically just being out of college, saying that one day, he would start a family of his own and perhaps even thank her for her decision.
