A Breaking Bad movie has been rumored to be in the works since the series ended in 2013. But now we have real evidence that not only is the movie happening, but it has already been filmed.
Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Bob Odenkirk — who plays Saul Goodman — spilled the beans:
“I’ve heard so many different things about it, but I am excited about the Breaking Bad movie. I can’t wait to see it.”
“I don’t know what people know and don’t know. I find it hard to believe you don’t know it was shot. They did it. You know what I mean? How is that a secret? But it is. They’ve done an amazing job of keeping it a secret.”
The movie is believed to center around Aaron Paul’s character, Jesse Pinkman, who survived the “Breaking Bad” series and was last seen riding off into the sunset. Presumably the movie will let us know where exactly Pinkman ended up going.
It is expected to hit AMC and Netflix in 2020.
