Rocky, who shares sons Riza and Riot with the billionaire, also spoke about their parenting dynamic, noting Riza's introverted nature and Riot's extroversion.
Rihanna has also been candid about raising her sons with Rocky, noting that she dresses the boys like their father.
A$AP Rocky Reveals When He Knew Rihanna Was 'The One'
During a chat with W Magazine, A$AP Rocky opened up about the moment he realized Rihanna was "the one."
Reflecting on how he knew she was special, he said, "I knew from when we were younger. We both did, I think. So it was only right when we got older. We just kind of reconnected."
Speaking about the photoshoot location at the Merce Hotel, the "Sundress" hitmaker recalled, "This is very special because this is the first place she fell in love with me. Virgil Abloh shot the music video for 'Fashion Killa' in 2012, and that was the same couch where Rihanna and I sat in the first scene… That was that same room."
Rocky and Rihanna, who went public with their relationship in November 2020, are proud parents to their two sons, Riza, 2, and Riot, 1.
A$AP Rocky Shares Insight On His Sons' Personalities
Rocky also gave a rare glimpse into his sons' personalities in the W Magazine interview.
He described Rza as more reserved, saying, "I think Rza is going to keep to himself. He's an introvert. Riot's an extrovert - he's just like his mom. Rza is more so like his dad, like me. And he's my twin."
Rocky continued: "He got his mom's forehead, but he got everything else from me. I love my boy's big forehead! I loved it on his mother. Listen to 'Jukebox Joints."
In the rapper's 2015 track "Jukebox Joints," he raps that nothing is better than a "pretty, big forehead b--tch."
While speaking about where he finds support, he said, "My woman, my partner. She knows when to hold it down."
Rocky added: "I think we both have our niches, our things that we do that we're good at. She could never be a great dad, because she's a great mom… And I could never be a great mom, because I'm the greatest dad in the whole wide world."
A$AP Rocky Defends Parenting Style, Insists His Kids Will Have Normal Upbringing Despite Fame
In a Billboard interview shared on TikTok, Rocky spoke about his parenting approach as he and Rihanna raise their two sons.
When the interviewer suggested that the couple's kids wouldn't have the same upbringing as Rocky had in Harlem, the rapper insisted that "they do."
The conversation quickly turned into a short argument, with Rocky pulling up a video of RZA, saying, "Man, let me show you little RZA last night, bro. Look, this is my little man right here."
The reporter noted, "A$AP Rocky and Rihanna's kids aren't going to walk to a corner store in the middle of the night…"
Rocky cut him off, asking, "Why the f-ck not?" The reporter replied, "Because they're the kids of A$AP Rocky and Rihanna."
The father of two wasn't convinced, responding, "But they're still human." He added, "This is him [RZA] last night. He's walking to the corner store."

Rocky shared a glimpse into life with his little ones during the interview, revealing that their music tastes differ from their famous parents.
He shared that the kids are hooked on the animated show "CoComelon," with its endless loop of children's songs.
"That sh-t is driving me nuts!" Rocky jokingly admitted, "Don't tell my girl I said that. I'm totally joking. I don't give a sh-t. She's tired of it, too, probably."
The proud parents celebrated Riot's first birthday on August 1. Rocky marked the occasion by sharing photos from their busy lives, captioning them, "HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY TO MY 2ND BORN SON RIOT ROSE MAYERS."
Rihanna Shares Hack For Getting Her Sons Dressed Quickly
Rihanna recently unveiled her life hack for dressing her two sons and gushed about how they're "living the greatest life."
She said that her "biggest hack" to approaching her son's fashion game is to dress them like their dad.
"I was like, 'You know what, I have the biggest hack - their dad,'" the singer told ET. "When I dress them, I always try to dress them like Rocky."
"It's really fun, it's cute to see my kids like wear stuff that I made and designed [through my Fenty x Puma collaboration]. It's really incredible," Rihanna added.
