Debra Messing's Attempt To Squash Megan Mullally Feud Rumors Just Backfired

Debra Messing tried to get in front of the Megan Mullally feud rumors, but she failed miserably.

The "Will & Grace" star shared a picture on the set of their hit show with her castmates Eric McCormack and Sean Hayes on Thursday, but no Megan.

She tagged the boys in her shot and appeared to know this would cause a stir among fans, because she captured the picture, "I love them so much. @seanhayes @eric_mccormack (Megan wasn't in the scene)."

There's been rumors Messing and Mullally aren't getting along on set, which has caused speculation that the duo's feud is why the show is ending next season.

While it seems Messing was trying to do damage control, this newest picture just caused fans to question the "Will & Grace" stars' relationship even more.

Followers began flooding her post with comments like, "What’s going on between you and Megan," "are you not speaking to Megan?" and "What about Megan?"

Some even questioned Messing on whether she was intentionally rehashing the issue.

"You’re stirring up the chatter with this... c’mon be better than that," one follower wrote.

As The Blast reported, the stars announced in July that the "Will & Grace" reboot will be coming to an end in 2020.

Messing expressed her gratitude to fans with the announcement, writing, "We were so lucky to have the opportunity to reunite and do the show AGAIN. It was only supposed to be 10 episodes, but because of you, the fans, it has turned into 3 YEARS. What a miracle."

Mullally also spoke out about the show ending, saying, "all things must pass, and the Will & Grace television program is no exception. we’ve decided to end the show after this 3rd revival season... i know, it’s very sad! we’ll miss you!"

After its final season, "Will and Grace" will have been on the air for 11 seasons total.
