Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, may have to pay more than they bargained for as their alleged assault debt settlement to the security guard hits a new high.
Thomas Weidenmuller, who sued the award-winning rapper and her partner, revealed that his six-figure settlement from the default judgment in March continues to increase following failure to make payment from their end.
Nicki Minaj's husband, Kenneth Petty, reportedly assaulted Thomas Weidenmuller backstage at a show in Germany back in 2019.
Nicki Minaj Has Reportedly Refused To Pay The Court Ordered Settlement
Weidenmuller, in his court document, claimed that no payment had been received on the $503,318 settlement he was awarded after he sued Minaj and Petty for assaulting him.
The former bodyguard claimed that the settlement has since amassed an interest of $22,752 since the judgment was delivered in March, bringing the sum to a total of $526,000.
According to In Touch, Weidenmuller claimed that the 46-year-old got physically violent with him at Minaj's concert in Germany five years ago after a slight misunderstanding.
Kenneth Petty Reportedly Struck The Petitioner Across The Face
The former bodyguard noted that Minaj's husband "repositioned" himself out of his line of view and hit him on his face without prior warning during a back-and-forth session in a private area after the show.
Weidenmuller stated that the strike left him stunned and disoriented as he was unsure whether Petty hit him with his fist or with a weapon. He revealed that he suffered severe injuries from the hit and had to go in for surgery to fix his jaw. Weidenmuller explained in his declaration:
"I now have five plates in my jaw and my jaw has not yet been fully reconstructed. The doctors must still insert implants into my jaw as a part of the reconstruction process. In the interim, the doctors have inserted donor bones from a deceased person into my mouth in order to preserve space for future implants."
Weidenmuller Stated That The Overzealous Fan Did Not Physically Harm Minaj
The former bodyguard explained that the incident went down when a fan breached security blockage as Minaj performed on stage.
The Blast reported Weidenmuller's account that the fan did not make any physical contact with the "Super Bass" singer and only danced along to the music as she continued with her performance.
"The concert-goer did not cause harm to any other person, nor did he damage any property during or after his limited time on stage," Weidenmuller added.
However, Minaj got very upset by the situation and began yelling at a female security guard about the intruding fan and confronted her for exposing her to possible harm.
Weidenmuller continued that the rapper began filming the female security guard, who had already apologized and pushed her to tell her fans that "she failed to do her job and put Minaj in danger."
The rapper then reportedly called the guard a "f—ing b-tch" and threw a shoe at her but missed her target. Weidenmuller continued that he was invited into a private room where he met Petty and Minaj. He claimed that the couple insulted him and accused him of having a romantic relationship with the female guard.
A Disgruntled Fan Recently Dragged The Rapper To Court For Defamation
Her bodyguard is not the only one seeking going the legal route on Minaj's conduct with them, one of her fans filed a defamation lawsuit against the rapper in Los Angeles Superior Court.
The Blast reported that the fan described himself as one of her most loyal fans for nearly two decades who contributed significantly to the promotion of her 2023 album "Pink Friday 2."
The plaintiff, identified as Tameer Peak, however, noted in his suit that Minaj accused him of being a paid mole sent to sabotage her. He claimed the rapper invited him to her hotel to film and embarrass him in front of over 100,000 viewers on her Instagram Live.
Peak added that the rapper's husband, Petty, also attacked and bullied him during a Super Bowl weekend event back in 2020.
Tameer Peak Slammed Nicki Minaj With A Seven Figure Sum In Damages
The aggrieved fan claimed that the rapper constantly ruined his reputation by insulting him on her multiple Stationhead sessions. He accused the business mogul of describing him as a mentally unstable person by allegedly writing:
"It's clear they're not necessarily, you know, a full basket umm at the picnic."
Minaj also allegedly implied Peak was living from hand to mouth and receiving welfare checks from the government. He also accused her of labeling him a stalker who impersonates her team members.
Peak sued the pop star for reputational harm, emotional distress, and financial loss. He also demanded $5 million in damages for the alleged crimes.
Nicki Minaj has her hands full with her ongoing tour and legal cases, which she seems not to care so much about!
