JoJo Siwa Reveals One Guest Almost 'Ruined' Her 21st Birthday Celebration

JoJo Siwa's 21st birthday celebration at Walt Disney World was filled with magic and excitement, but it wasn't without its drama.

In a recent interview, the former "Dance Moms" star and "Karma" singer shared that one of her guests almost "ruined" the special occasion, causing her to cry for the first two hours of her big day.

While she thought the day was already "ruined," one of her close friends, Tyler Cameron, came to the rescue and turned the entire celebration around.

JoJo Siwa, who publicly debuted her romance with girlfriend Dakayla Wilson in August, celebrated her birthday at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

Tyler Cameron, an alum of "The Bachelorette," Australian singer G Flip, and other friends joined her for the festivities, which included the iconic "Drinking Around the World" challenge at EPCOT, where the main goal is to try at least one drink from each of the 11 countries in the World Showcase: Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, America, Japan, Morocco, France, United Kingdom, and Canada.

At the time, the "Karma" singer made headlines after being caught strolling through the theme park on her birthday, sipping drinks and acting "obnoxiously," sparking a wave of fan backlash online. Fans wasted no time trolling her behavior across social media.

"So you spend your 21st getting drunk with Mom? Where are your dance friends," one TikToker said at the time.

“It’s giving ‘no one came to my party so I’m gonna pretend there’s ppl here and we’re having fun’,” another expressed.

In a candid chat for People Magazine's "Rules to Live By" series, Siwa opened up about her unforgettable 21st birthday celebration, confessing that it kicked off with a flood of tears.

“No one knows this, I cried for the first two hours of that day,” she told the outlet. “And I could have let those first two hours ruin the whole day, but then I’m lucky, my best friend Tyler [Cameron] called me. He was like, ‘Come on over, we got bagels in the room for you! Bagels for the birthday girl.’ And I was like, ‘Ah Ty, you have no idea. You just saved me today.’”

Siwa and Cameron struck up a friendship while filming the second season of Fox's reality series "Special Forces: World's Toughest Test." Cameron has gushed about his bond with Siwa, calling it a joy to spend time with her while Siwa recently hinted that Cameron might end up as the best man at her future wedding.

She initially felt like her big day was “ruined” by one of her guests, though she didn't spill the tea on which attendee was responsible for bringing her to tears, but she did share her realization: she could either let that person's presence bring her down or choose to put on a happy face.

“Everybody saw it be a really fun day online, but it was actually ruined by somebody who was very close to me and who was with me on that day,” she told People. “But I took a breath and I realized that she was going to be with me all day, but there was other people there as well, and so I made the choice to not let the person ruin the day and let the other people that were there have the best day.”

Thanks to Cameron’s uplifting support, Siwa revealed that she ended up having a “great day" and “the best 21st birthday ever!”

Siwa rang in her 21st birthday on May 19, 2024, by hitting up the theme park for some drinks, running into fans, and even trying to get a sing-along started to her latest hit, "Karma."

But things got a little awkward when fans couldn’t keep up with the lyrics, leaving JoJo to finish the song solo.

Rocking her signature style, Siwa sported a bejeweled construction vest, oversized denim shorts, a black Mickey Mouse baseball cap with matching ears, and 21st birthday-themed glasses.

She was spotted with her mom and "Special Forces" co-star Cameron, famously known from "The Bachelor." Naturally, TikTok had a field day after fans saw the "Dance Moms" alum hanging out at the parks.
