GRAMMY-winning musician Billie Eilish is finished with putting the spotlight on her private life; even doing so unintentionally.

The 22-year-old accidentally revealed a bit more about her sexuality than she would have intended in an interview with Variety last year. The "Lunch" singer accidentally revealed she was queer after discussing her love of and appreciation for women.

Eilish's quote led to mounds of public attention that she was not ready for, and now the singer-songwriter is speaking out about her accidental personal revelation and her current thoughts over how she plans to move forward in the public eye as one of the most popular public figures of the last decade.

Billie Eilish Is Used To Backlash

Eilish's personal life isn't the only aspect of her life that has been subjected to criticism.

The "Birds Of A Feather" singer was hit with backlash over ticket prices over the summer. The singer struggled to sell out London's O2 arena, because of "ridiculous" costs. She is set to play a six-night residency, as The Blast previously reported. The UK Tour will begin next July.

According to the Daily Mail, tickets for the 20,000-seat venue are priced for nearly 200 American dollars, starting at $187.

Fans voiced their frustration on X, deeming the situation "disgusting."

One fan posted, "I'm glad Billie Eilish can't sell out or even marginally fill any of her three dates at the O2 arena because the only way we will get cheaper ticket prices is by not buying hugely overpriced tickets. £234 being the cheapest ticket is ridiculous." The same X user shared screenshots of the stadium's maps and the corresponding ticket prices.

The Oscar Winner Has Opened Up About Her Struggles To Make Friends

Eilish's personal life isn't the only aspect that the singer has discussed with the public.

Having one of the fastest rises to fame that the music industry has seen in years surely doesn't give someone enough time to make connections. The "Bad Guy" songstress has confirmed this notion in interviews before.

Opening up on the BBC's "Miss Me" podcast, Eilish revealed she had "lost friends" after rising up the charts.

"I suddenly was famous, and then I couldn't relate to anybody," Eilish confessed, per The Daily Mail, as previously reported by The Blast.

Billie Eilish Wants To Form Connections Privately

As previously mentioned, the "You Should See Me In A Crown" writer got the internet talking after speaking to Variety wherein she gave the public an unintended reference to her sexuality.

Eilish was talking about women when she said, "I love them so much. I love them as people. I'm attracted to them as people," per a recent Vogue profile.

Her proclamation led to a later revelation that she had not meant to properly come out in the interview.

The moment later inspired Eilish to reflect on how she would like to navigate her personal life publicly. She also thought her queerness had been "obvious" to the public without the need for clarification.

'Employees' Made Up The Guest List For Eilish's Birthday Party

While waiting for new connections to form, sometimes one has to rely on fostering the connections in front of them, and this is exactly what Eilish did for her 20th birthday.

She got real about what friendship looks like for her during her "Miss Me" podcast interview.

The "Ocean Eyes" singer recalled a moment where she noticed she was only surrounded by her staff.

Eilish told host Lily Allen, "And then it was my 20th birthday and I remember looking around the room and it was only people that I employ. And all 15 years or more older than me," Eilish reflected, as previously reported by The Blast.
