Rock, whose real name is Chrisean Malone, denied that Wright suffered numerous physical injuries, extreme "mental anguish," severe distress, and physical pain and suffering following an alleged assault unleashed on him by her at Braxton's event.

Her attorney argued that Wright's actions from that evening also "estopped, in whole, or in part, from asserting any of their claims against [Chrisean]."

According to In Touch, Rock also added that Wright was barred from "recovering any damages against her because of his own conduct, actions, and/or omissions."

Tamar Braxton's Pal Narrated How It Started

Braxton's pal explained in his lawsuit that he met Rock backstage at the show, which was held at The Novo last year. According to him, the mom-of-one commented on how nice he was to her and how different he was from everyone else who had treated her badly at the event.

Wright noted that Rock was visibly upset and emotional during their conversation "because she stated everyone was lying about her not being where she was supposed to be for her part of the performance."

Wright continued that Rock was wrongly informed about her role for the evening as she was slated to perform at the end of the show in a segment called the "twerk portion."

He stated that he tried consoling Rock and told her she was not in the designated area as "everyone else," as he would have seen her if she had been in the right spot.

Wright declared that his statement aggravated Rock, who promised to hit him if he again stated she was not where she was supposed to be.

Following Rock's threat, Wright noted that he politely affirmed that she was not in the right spot, and by this time, Rock proceeded to hit him, "using the hand she was wearing large, champion style rings" several times on the face.

Rock was reportedly removed from the scene following the attack, but she still kept on yelling "foul and obscene" words at Wright. She was also accused of using a homophobic slur during the outbursts in the presence of multiple witnesses, according to the lawsuit.

Wright added that he visited the hospital after the assault and discovered he had lost two teeth, suffered multiple lacerations, contusions to his face and nose, as well as emotional distress. He also demanded an unspecified sum in damages from the Zeus Network star.

The rapper was dragged to court by hairstylist Irby Lashala, who accused her of causing bodily and emotional distress during a "Baddies" premiere party.
