Christina Haack Moves To Sell Home Estranged Husband Lives

Christina Hall (née Haack) is making waves with her latest real estate move. She is putting her Tennessee home up for sale—a property her estranged husband, Josh Hall, has been living in.

This decision follows the couple's increasingly public split. Josh recently accused Christina of using underhanded tactics during their ongoing separation.

Christina Haack, who has remained focused on her career despite the drama, seems to be signaling a clear break from her past. Selling the home may be her way of starting fresh as the tension between them continues to rise.

Christina is taking a significant step amid her messy divorce from her former police officer husband by putting her stunning Leiper's Fork farmhouse on the market for $4.5 million.

The HGTV star, who bought the property back in February 2021 before meeting her estranged husband, shared the news on her Instagram Stories. In the post, she expressed her excitement, stating:

"My Tennessee home is officially for sale. Excited for a new venture in business & real estate." 

However, in what might be an awkward situation, a source revealed that Josh has been residing in the home since their separation. 

This was after a temporary agreement allowing him to live there as long as it was not being rented out. Court documents obtained by PEOPLE revealed that Christina is the sole owner of the house. 

Christina reportedly once envisioned the picturesque farmhouse as a cozy retirement retreat with her estranged husband. 

The stunning property is described in the real estate listing as a "fabulous modern farmhouse situated on 23.82 acres" of lush land. It features six bedrooms and six bathrooms within its expansive 5,000 square feet. 

Complete with a three-car garage, a barn, and fenced areas for animals, the home promises a private sanctuary for its future owners.

Christina had previously told PEOPLE how she "immediately fell in love" with the property and made an offer on the spot. "It's on 23 acres, super private and has everything I could imagine and more," she shared.

The 41-year-old is not holding back as she lists her Tennessee farmhouse for sale; she is also taking a veiled jab at her estranged husband.

In a follow-up Instagram Story, Christina referenced Josh's recent change to his bio, stating, "I guess 'Leiper's Fork' is gonna have to come off the bio soon. Time to go back to reality."

With a pointed remark, she recalled a past conversation with Josh, adding, "Remember when you said you would never steal from me or my kids and you would just be happy in a van with your dog? I guess plans changed."

Christina also made it clear that she feels Josh is more focused on financial gain, quipping, "All about trying to take everything you can... With your mind on my money and my money on your mind...Byeeee."

Christina's recent dig at her estranged husband is just the latest in a series of accusations that have surfaced during their tumultuous divorce. 

The Blast reported that among the allegations was the controversy surrounding a $35,000 transfer from her rental property business to his personal account.

In response, Josh had agreed to return the money but accused Christina of cutting him off financially and trying to terminate his employment.

He alleges that she restricted his access to their joint credit card and is making efforts to remove him from their upcoming HGTV show. 

As their contentious divorce continued to make the headlines and intensify, Josh stood his ground regarding his financial dealings with their rental properties. 

After admitting to contacting the property manager to have June's income deposited into a separate account under his name, he asserted that he required the funds to cover ongoing expenses linked to the properties. The 44-year-old explained:

"This is necessary so that the properties can continue to be rented out to the guests who have often booked months in advance. Although the property manager handles the day-to-day management of Parker Branch and 700 1st, there are regular and ongoing expenses and obligations that only I am responsible for, which Christina has never managed."

He elaborated on his responsibilities about paying service workers before noting, "All of the service providers have only ever worked with and communicated with me, never with Christina. I also purchase and restock supplies in the home."

As the drama continues, Christina Haack's latest move shows that she is navigating her fresh start in her own way.
