Sean "Diddy" Combs' ongoing lawsuit and criminal indictment is reportedly making music industry A-listers lose sleep.

This claim comes after Texas-based lawyer Tony Buzbee alleged in a press conference that Diddy sexually assaulted 120 individuals he's representing, among whom were several minors.

Buzbee disclosed that some high-profile names will spring up in the case and that the "names will shock" everyone.

Some celebrities close to Sean "Diddy" Combs, including Ashton Kutcher and Kevin Hart, have already distanced themselves from the embattled rapper.

According to Page Six, Diddy's recent legal troubles have sent ripples of anxiety through the entertainment industry's A-list circles, sparking fears that several top stars could be implicated or even named in the lawsuits.

Attorney Buzbee's claim that some of the names associated with his new case against Diddy would "shock" people is said to have left many Hollywood elites unable to sleep.

"Many people at the highest level, including artists, executives, managers, and others, are not sleeping well right now," top entertainment lawyer Bryan Freedman told the news outlet. "Those who have knowingly allowed and/or encouraged the behavior while remaining silent should be concerned."

Freedman noted that he "represents a number of people who have been concerned about being wrongfully mentioned or rumored to be a part of this just by an association unrelated to any wrongdoing."

He added, "They don't want to be part of some rumor mill because they have some tangential connection to Combs."

Freedman went further to encourage any music industry bigwig who may be losing sleep over the possibility of being dragged into Diddy's indictment to seek legal representation rather than remain anxious.

In a statement to Page Six, one of Diddy's lawyers slammed the recent allegations by the 120 new accusers, calling them "reckless" and "defamatory."

"As Mr. Combs' legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus," attorney Erica Wolff told the news outlet.

"That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors," Wolff continued. "He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court if and when claims are filed and served, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation."

Several other industry insiders claim that there were people who knew about Diddy's alleged acts but either kept silent or turned a blind eye and could thereby be dragged into the case.

"He had a very significant and successful career and had a number of top artists at his company," a legal expert told Page Six. "He worked with MTV and a number of different labels, he had distribution deals with Universal, with Sony and he would show up at industry events, whether it was the Grammys or a charitable function."

The source continued, "Do I believe there is even a remote possibility that any label exec ever was at his home when any of these or hotels alleged activities? Maybe, but I've not seen evidence to support it … I'm sure there were people aware of what was going on, but Combs will have limited it to a relatively close circle that he trusted and with whom he was close."

The industry insider noted that the government is "focused on getting to people who will turn over on Diddy, making sure they can make their case."

The Rapper Is Being Held AT MDC While Awaiting Trial

The scandal has seemingly left several celebrities crying out over fears of being wrongfully named or publicly distancing themselves from the embattled music mogul despite previously maintaining known ties with him.

Diddy is facing charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution and is currently held at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center as he awaits trial.

He has been denied bail twice since he was arrested on September 16 at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Manhattan, as prosecutors argue he poses a flight risk.

The hip-hop mogul was known for hosting white parties and had several A-list stars in attendance, who posed in photos and drank champagne by his side.

However, some of them have recently made efforts to distance themselves from him in the aftermath of his federal indictment.

As more allegations against Diddy come out, stars have started to distance themselves from the rapper.

Reports recently claimed that Kutcher is afraid Diddy may lie to authorities about some of his friends in a bid to free himself.

However, a source close to the star insisted he has "nothing to do with this. Zero involvement. Zero knowledge of these [Diddy's] activities."

Another actor, Leonardo DiCaprio, came under scrutiny for his affiliation with Diddy. However, an anonymous source recently told the Daily Mail that DiCaprio "has absolutely nothing to do with" Diddy's federal case.

"He attended a few of his parties back in the early 2000s — but literally everyone did," the source said, clarifying that these parties were not the "freak offs" described in legal complaints. "He has nothing to do with any of that world, so for anyone to assume that he will get roped into this based on a few grainy photos that are more than 20 years old is ridiculous."

Comedian Kevin Hart also recently shut down questions about "hosting" parties for Diddy, telling reporters they are asking the "wrong person" the "wrong question."

Meanwhile, other celebrities appear to be distancing themselves from Combs in more subtle ways. Back in May, Vibe Magazine compiled a list of famous people in Diddy's circle who have now unfollowed him on Instagram, such as LeBron James, Patrick Mahomes, and Kim Kardashian.
