"The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" took Hulu by storm with a dramatic season 1 that dropped in early September. It left fans wanting more and now it's been officially announced that they are getting what they want!

The show that follows the lives of a group of Utah Mormon moms - Taylor Frankie Paul, Layla Taylor, Whitney Leavitt, Demi Emngemann, Jessi Ngatikaura, Mayci Neeley, Mikayla Matthews, and Jennifer Affleck - is coming back for more drama and hopefully to tie up some loose ends after their wild first season.

On Wednesday, Deadline reported that Hulu was working on getting the moms back together for a second season, with filming starting soon.

While speculation was strong that a second season was in the early stages, it wasn't until Thursday when the MomTok moms made their official announcements in TikTok videos. The moms shared their videos on social media around the same time the show's Instagram page gave the good news.

"Prayers answered! #TheSecretLivesOfMormonWives will return with more episodes this spring on @hulu," the caption reads. It didn't take long for the moms to hop into the comment section to share their excitement.

Neeley wrote, "Lookout everyone," and Ngatikaura added, "They ain’t ready!"

Only Six Of The Moms Appear In Taylor Frankie Paul's TikTok Announcement

Leader of the MomTok group, Taylor Frankie Paul, shared a video on TikTok on Thursday afternoon to give the good news everyone's been waiting for.

Captioned, "Season two coming early spring 2025," only six of the moms are in the video. Many viewers immediately noticed who was missing and started that convo in the comment section.

"No Whitney," one person wrote. Another added, "No Jen??!" One other wrote, "Where’s the drama going to come from if Whitney and Jen are gone?"

Another fan speculated what could happen by saying, "I’m calling it now Whitney and Jen will show up in season 2. I may be wrong, but I have a feeling they will. Not at first, but they will pop up I bet lol."

MomTok's Mayci Neeley Also Shared A TikTok Video

Neeley also shared an announcement on her TikTok page about the return of the popular show. Just like Paul's video, Neeley's quickly went viral and racked up tons of supportive and excited comments.

Hulu left a comment for the MomTok crew saying, "fav girlies are back." Many fans were focused on Affleck and Leavitt missing from all the announcements.

"I’m deceased at Jen and Whitney’s part," one person wrote, to which Neeley responded, "Same" with a laughing emoji.

"Whitney must have removed herself from the 'chat'..I mean..SEASON 2," one fan hilariously wrote. Another added, "Ready, yesterday. So glad 'MomTok survived this.'"

There's More Where That Came From!

MatthewsNgatikaura, and Taylor all shared videos on TikTok on Thursday as well, and each video quickly went viral, proving just how many people have been waiting patiently to hear about a second season.

Each of the TikTok videos were similar but slightly different, feature the same six cast members, and had the comment sections filled with questions and speculations about the two missing moms.

"You guys. They're gonna have Whitney. They need her for the plot. Every show has a villain," one fan wrote in the comments of Ngatikaura's video.

One fan shared, "I saw no Whitney and that made sense but where’s Jen," on Matthews' video.

Many others are begging Hulu for at least 20 or 25 episodes in season 2, since season 1 only had eight and left fans wondering about many different storylines and what happened next.

One Missing MomTok Mom Shared A TikTok Video Before The Announcement

About a week ago, Affleck, one of the two missing moms from all the season 2 announcements, shared a video that might have some wondering what's going on.

Captioned, "Stay tuned...#season2," the video shows Affleck with her kids as she mouths, "I'm not embarrassed by anything I went through. What may be tea for you is testimony for me. So if you're gonna talk about what broke me, invite me to the table."

Many fans dropped into the comments to talk about Affleck's husband Zac and his part in the drama of season 1.

And since Affleck isn't in the announcement videos and hasn't shared one of her own, it appears that fans will have to wait until Spring 2025 when season 2 drops on Hulu to find out if she's involved or not. Her recent social media posts point in the direction that perhaps Affleck and her family have relocated from Utah to New York, but she has posted videos with the other moms in the last month.

What do you think - will Affleck and Leavitt be a part of season 2?

Season 1 of "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" is currently streaming on Hulu.
