Will Smith has been getting jiggly with it!
The legendary actor proved that his sense of humor is bigger than his stomach on Sunday, May 1. Smith shared a funny and unflattering photo of himself, and he was letting it all hang out! Will posed in a pair of short shorts and an unzipped windbreaker that left his chest and belly exposed.
“I’m gonna be real wit yall – I’m in the worst shape of my life,” the actor captioned his not-so-fit pic.
The confused facial expression and the odd hand gesture combined with his extra lbs make this photo the most honest and interesting picture he has shared in a while. That being said, he is still probably in better shape than most 52-year-olds.
While he isn’t in tip-top shape, his Instagram habits are, and his famous friends praised him for the sweet post. “This is the most amazing post in the history of social media,” Questlove commented, while MC Lyte called his statement “Lies.” Will’s longtime DJ and friend, Jazzy Jeff, jokingly said, “We’re twins….”
Since the star has such a good sense of humor, his fans teased him a little bit. “Lookin real Uncle Phil here bro ?????,” one follow joked, referencing “The Fresh Prince of Bel Aire.” Another commented, “Admitting is the first step. ??”
Still, others let him know that he deserves to be fat and happy. “Man! You have been in shape your whole life. Enjoy the dad bod with pride! Let’s end… the carbs discrimination ??,” a supportive fan wrote.
Smith and director Antoine Fuqua made headlines last month when they pulled their upcoming runaway slave drama “Emancipation” from Georgia over the new voter restriction laws. Their production is the largest to pull out of the state since the state Legislature passed laws that introduced stiffer voter identification requirements for absentee balloting, limited drop boxes, and gave the State Election Board new powers to intervene in county election offices and to remove and replace local election officials.
