Mark Wahlberg Reveals He's 'Up About 20' Pounds For a Role; Shows His Big Belly

We didn't think it was possible to have a six-pack and a big belly but Mark Wahlberg proved us wrong!
The "Wahl Street" star showed off his 20-pound weight gain on Saturday, May 1. The fitness-obsessed actor shared a video where he announced that his training partner, Kenny is down 50 lbs, but he is swinging the opposite way. Luckily, Mark is doing it on purpose for a role.
"Kenny's been losing weight; I've been gaining weight," Wahlberg said before lifting his shirt. He patted his extended belly and called it "what Kenny lost."

The front view still featured an incredibly toned midsection, but the big difference came when Mark showed off the side view and stopped sucking it in. He set the record straight in the caption before his fans speculated why he is gaining weight.
"Kenny’s down 50 and I’m up about 20? inspired to be better! I’m going up another 20. Yes it’s for a role✝️?❤️," he wrote alongside his belly reveal video.

The hunky mustache look was certainly working for the 49-year-old... at least, that was the consensus in the comments. Some told Mark that his video was inspiring, while others let him know that they are digging the extra lbs! "You're [getting] me motivated??," one follower wrote, but there were more than a few thirsty comments in there.
"go to...my room ??????," one enthusiastic fan wrote, while another said, "you are wonderful and yummy ??????." "Dayum?," a third follower commented.
We are sure he appreciates the love, but we don't think a few flattering comments will convince him to shake up his life. Mark is a big-time family man, and he often shares his public displays of affection with his beautiful wife, Rhea.
The loving father and son shared a heartwarming picture of his family with his mom, Alma Wahlberg, after she passed away in April. "Miss you grandma❤️," he wrote as a tribute on social media.
