"Dancing With the Stars" host Julianne Hough is not letting the body shamers get to her.
In a September 29 Instagram video, Julianne Hough gave fans a glimpse of her fun, carefree side during a luxurious spa day. Rocking a snake-print bathing suit, the pro dancer alternated between a sauna, red light therapy mask, trampoline, and cold plunge.
While the video was meant to show off her playful, "silly" self, social media users couldn't help but comment on Julianne Hough's weight.

The 36-year-old took to the comments section herself, shutting down the trolls with an epic response.
"I don’t usually address comments like this but I’m going to say a few things about this video," she began before explaining how red light therapy and cold plunging is good for your health and body.
She then addressed the body shame comments, telling her followers, "My body has never been healthier - I was full of inflammation in my 20s and had a marker for an autoimmune that I addressed and committed to over a year and a half ago. "
"I’ve frozen my eggs over the last few years which also shifts the body fluctuation," she continued. "I’ve never been healthier or happier from the inside out. Grief, loss. Sadness and fear also get stored in the body and we hold on to that in different ways. I made it a huge priority to accept, express, process, and release a lot of emotions over the years."
Julianne Hough Addresses The 'Attention Seeking' Comments
After explaining that "being in a bikini is the best outfit for these activities," she spoke on her "playful" and "authentic" side.
"I saw somewhere that when kids are the most playful and can be the most strange and weird versions of themselves it means they are the safest to do so," she said. "My playful goofy side is a reflection of how safe I feel in my own skin and with the people around me."
"Everyone who is close to me knows this side of me means I am the most free in judgment of myself and from others," the actress added.
To Those 'Genuinely Concerned,' Julianne Hough Says She 'Understands'
While some of the comments were meant to slam her weight, others were concerned and wanted to make sure the actress was doing okay.
"For those of you genuinely concerned because this is unusual for you to see, I understand that what you don’t understand feels unfamiliar and sometimes scary," she said, addressing those fans. "I’m going to continue feeling safe within myself regardless of the outpouring of your comments, and have fun with life which can be really heavy and challenging."
"So why not be playful and laugh and enjoy the journey instead of taking everything so seriously," she added.
Fans Back Julianne Hough Amid Hateful Comments
Not all the comments were negative, though—many fans jumped to Julianne Hough's defense, clapping back at the haters before she even had to. "She’s in a bathing suit dancing and being silly…what is wrong with everyone? Scroll on if it bothers you. She sure isn’t," one user commented.
"Why when a woman is happy, confident, and comfortable with herself do people get concerned and judge harshly?" another said.
"I cannot believe these comments. What is wrong with people?" a third wrote. "Very disappointing, I’m sorry Julianne."
One of her fans said, "Everyone is so judgy. She’s in the shape of her life, she’s clearly LOVING life, and is wearing a BIKINI in warm weather…in water. Would you prefer she wear a snowsuit?"
"Grow up, ladies. Your jealousy and tearing down of someone so joyful is not a good look on anyone," they added.
