Travis Kelce's Ex Kayla Nicole Is Not Letting Haters Get In Her Way

Kayla Nicole knows haters are going to "hate, hate, hate," but that isn't stopping her from clapping back!

The former girlfriend of Travis Kelce is getting feisty. The Kansas City Chiefs football star has been dating Taylor Swift for over a year, and it seems as if some fans of the "Speak Now" songstress can't resist trolling in the YouTuber's social media posts.

The social media star dated Kelce for half a decade, and their relationship was on-again-off-again, per People Magazine.

The duo's relationship began in 2017.  Swift famously released "Reputation" the same year, an album heavily influenced by the subject of rising above the perception of others.

The influencer has taken actionable steps to leave her relationship with the "New Heights" podcast host in the rearview mirror, and those steps have included making changes to her social media feeds. Two notable people in her ex's circle that Nicole has unfollowed since the breakup, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, the publication also reported.

Nicole did not mince words when it came to recently standing up for herself on Instagram.

An Instagram fan page dedicated to the YouTube sensation recently posted some snaps featuring Nicole getting her hair done. Trolls soon began posting hate comments, featuring vomiting emojis. One particular comment read, "Very pretty," and featured a sickly-looking emoji, according to Page Six.

Nicole came back at the sarcastic comment with some personal wisdom via her X account. She wrote, "YOU WILL NEVER MAKE ME HATE ME. Hang it upppppppp bookie."

The internet star has repeatedly shown that her self-esteem has not been affected by harsh internet critics. Unfortunately, Nicole has been linked to her ex online and has had to set the record straight multiple times.

Last year, Nicole spoke out on Instagram amid drama related to Kelce. She discussed "tuning out the noise" from negative social media users while in an Instagram Live, as previously reported by The Blast. Nicole shared further perspective on how she believed that people who direct their energy toward others are lacking in areas of their lives.

"The ‘noise’ never comes from anyone who has more,” she replied to a Live participant.  “More love. More joy. More peace," Nicole said.

Social media speculation has also been directed at Kelce lately.

The NFL titan has been appearing somber on the field following a series of less-than-stellar performances. The chatter on social media has largely been attributed to the absence of Swift, who is regularly seen in the VIP lounges at her man's games.

Despite the chatter, Swift has only reportedly been hanging out with her girlies and has had prior commitments scheduled, as The Blast previously reported.

Kelce got candid in conversation with his brother Jason on an episode of "New Heights" about his teammates' recent performances on the field.

He admits to needing to turn his attention to what he can do in "big time moments" instead of "trying to do too much before putting the ball away," as previously reported by The Blast.

Revealing his goals for upcoming games was also on the Kansas City Chiefs player's agenda in the interview. He expressed concern about the opposing teams' defenses and explained his determination to help his teammates in getting ahead of them.

"Moving forward, [I'm] still trying to make sure that I can help the team out in that regard," Kelce explained. He also added the team was getting "better" and "tweaking" their strategy in the right direction to perhaps find themselves in the market for future Super Bowls.
