Brandi Redmond's Emotions Were 'Raw' At 'RHOD' Reunion After Husband's Alleged Cheating Was Mentioned

Brandi Redmond was asked about her husband Bryan Redmond's alleged affair during the "Real Housewives of Dallas" season five reunion and according to an Us Weekly report, it was quite clear that the mother of four was quite "raw" at the time of filming. 

“The Dallas reunion is explosive. The girls go at it,” a source told the magazine, according to a report from AOL, noting that a 2018 video of Bryan was “the big elephant in the room, just waiting to be brought up.”

According to the insider, the "Real Housewives of Dallas" cast as a whole has been extremely uncomfortable discussing the video in the months since it was leaked online and didn't expect for the topic to be brought up during filming.

“The girls, in general, have been uncomfortable addressing it publicly, so when [host Andy Cohen] mentioned the video that circulated about her husband allegedly cheating, the girls were aghast," the source shared. 

The video in question was filmed in 2018 and shared online in February.

"Brandi was not present in the room, but she was on video and was brought to tears when she spoke about it,” the insider explained. 

As fans of "The Real Housewives of Dallas" may have heard, Redmond and Kary Brittingham were forced to film the reunion special, which was shot in New York, virtually after Brittingham contracted COVID-19 and exposed the mother of four to the virus.

“Even though she physically was not there, you could feel her raw emotion through the screen,” the source shared.

During a podcast appearance earlier this month, Kameron Westcott was asked about the video of Bryan, which seemed to depict the married father kissing a woman who was not his wife at what appeared to be a nightclub. 

“I definitely think the movie or the video was from a long time ago, which obviously there’s absolutely no excuse for it whatsoever, but he has some explaining to do, like, a lot of explaining to do,” Westcott said on the “Hollywood Raw” podcast.

Westcott continued on, noting that at the time the video resurfaced, Redmond had her hands full with her fourth child. 

“She just had a baby, but yeah, there’s a lot of explaining to do, and I feel for her. I really do,” Westcott said.
