Cuoco was born in Camarillo, California, U.S. on November 30, 1985. She was bred in Southern California and presently lived a stone-throw away from where she grew up. Once a Cali girl, always a Cali girl.

Also, she was the daughter of an Italian descent father, Gary Carmine Cuoco and an English-German mother named Layne Ann.

The family name Cuoco, is the Italian translation for “Cook.” Now, the actress is a fitness freak, but we also know that she enjoys a good meal anytime she wants.

In 2016, she told Women’s Health magazine that she no longer eats meat, as she’s decided to stick with fish.

She Has A Celebrity Crush

Cuoco is the eldest daughter of her parents, and she was home-schooled for most of her life. According to reports, she got her general education from the comfort of her home.

Impressively, she also got her High School degree when she was 16 years old. It was at this age, that she decided to pursue a career in acting.

Growing up, she admired a few actresses in the industry, but the star she called her big time crush, was Jennifer Aniston.

The duo met for the first time on set for “Picture Perfect,” and Cuoco revealed she was “ready to d*e.”

She’s A Horse Lover

Cuoco has always been open about her love for horses in most interviews, and although, this is quite different from what most people like, the actress is genuinely a horse lover.

It’s one thing to love horses and another thing to meet a life partner who shares a similar interest.

Cuoco’s love for horses doubled when she met and married Karl Cook, who has a sod spot in his heart for horses. The couple went ahead recently to adopt their first dwarf mini horse.

Cuoco named her new pet Shmooshy because she was inspired by its nose.

When she was three years old, Cuoco took a keen interest in tennis playing. As time went on, and she got better at the game, she found herself being drawn to another career entirely.

Not many people know this, but Cuoco’s first TV appearance happened when she was only seven years old.

In 1992, she played the character, Connie Reinhardt in a TV film titled “Quicksand: No Escape.” Although it was a simple role, the actress’ interest in acting was born immediately. At age 16, she would then go on to pursue a career in acting.

Cuoco has several philanthropic projects that she busies herself with every now and then. She also specialises mainly in philanthropIc work that surrounds the care of animals.

Some of the charities she’s involved with include, Friends of Animals, Animal Avengers, and the Humane Society.

Also, Cuoco partners with the Elizabeth Glaser Paediatric AIDS Foundation for children. This project not only brings awareness to young children about their AIDS status, but also helps them to live a comfortable and normal life.
