Halsey continues to be vocal about her health struggles, with the latest incident landing her in the hospital with her fiancé.

The singer, who uses she/they pronouns, recently got fans worried about their wellbeing after sharing a video from their hospital bed. Hours later, they shed more light on their health in a Q&A session with fans.

Halsey first revealed they had been diagnosed with Lupus and a rare T-cell disorder in June, depicting part of the emotional journey in their single "The End." Despite their struggles, they found love with their fiancé Avan Jogia.

While answering fan questions on X, someone asked Halsey about their health following their worrisome video from the hospital. They replied, "I'm home from the hospital now after a few days, so a win is a win!"

When another fan wondered if their hospitalization was linked to chronic health issues or something new, the "Without Me" singer revealed, "I had a seizure! Very scary! Don't recommend it!"

The concerns about Halsey's health began on Wednesday, September 25, when they shared a video of themselves lying on a gurney with their fiancé in a bed across from them. There was an IV attached to their arm, but it did not diminish their high spirits.

Halsey and Jogia flashed the camera peace signs while wishing viewers a Happy Bi Visibility Day. The couple claimed they had "a whole plan" for fans, but it seemed they couldn't do it because of the singer's hospitalization.

Halsey Reacts To Her Health Scare With Dark Humor

Despite being in the hospital, Halsey did not appear discouraged by her condition and captioned the video with dark humor, writing:

"Happy late Bi Visibility Day. This year, I'm celebrating by dying with a man by my side (for legal reasons, that's a joke)."

Her post garnered thousands of comments from concerned fans, but Jogia stole the spotlight with the words: "Lol, I'm so glad you posted this." His support earned sweet messages from fans, with one IG user writing:

"As a bisexual disabled girly pop whose partner left them for being disabled, this gives me so much hope."

"I'm glad Avan isn't letting you be bi yourself in the hospital," a fan cleverly penned, while another supporter chimed: "Life's better when it's not taken so seriously. Love you both! Give Ender big hugs for me!"

The Singer Communicated Their Hidden Health Struggles Via Music

In June, The Blast reported that Halsey had broken their silence on their hidden health issues in their song "The End." The emotional lyrics depicted their years-long pain, with part of it reading:

"Every couple of years now, a doctor says I'm sick / Pulls out a brand new bag of tricks / And then they lay it on me / And at first, it was my brain, then a skeleton in pain."

They continued, noting that they had found someone better for their liver; however, the road to recovery wasn't easy. "When I met you, I said I would never die/ But the joke was always mine 'cause I'm racing against time," the melancholy lyrics read.

Halsey Felt 'Lucky To Be Alive'

The singer-songwriter shed more light on her hidden battles on Instagram, writing: "Long story short, I'm Lucky to be alive. Short story long, I wrote an album. It begins with The End. Out now."

Following questions about her health, Halsey revealed in a separate post that she was diagnosed with "Lupus SLE and then a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder" in 2022. She continued:

"After a rocky start, I slowly got everything under control with the help of amazing doctors. After 2 years, I'm feeling better, and I'm more grateful than ever to have music to turn to."

"I can't wait to get back where I belong: With you all singing and screaming my heart out," she concluded her announcement. Her post came three months before she confirmed her engagement to Jogia.

Halsey Announces Their Engagement To Avan Jogia

Weeks earlier, The Blast shared that Halsey announced their engagement to Jogia with a cheeky tweet. They clarified his status in their life on X after a Pop outlet referred to him as their boyfriend.

"fiancé Avan Jogia," Halsey sassily corrected them, sparking thousands of congratulatory comments from pleased fans. The confirmation came at the heels of their return to the VMAs after eight years.

They last performed on the show’s stage in 2016 with The Chainsmokers, serenading the crowd with their collaborated tune, "Closer.” For the 2024 VMAs, Halsey sang their new single “Ego” with a band.
