Chigvintsev’s hope to co-parent might be shortlived, as The Blast reported that Garcia already demanded full legal and physical custody of Matteo in her divorce filing.

The former WWE star cited irreconcilable differences as her reason for filing for a dissolution of the union. She also listed August 29 as the official date of their separation.

The date also matched the day Chigvintsev was arrested for felony corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant. Garcia indicated her wish to block the court’s ability to award spousal support to either of them in the divorce petition.

While Chigvintsev may not get his golden wish, Garcia is willing to grant him the right to visit Matteo, according to the details of her filing.
