'Vanderpump Rules' Star Scheana Shay In Labor With First Child

Scheana Shay went into labor on Sunday, April 25. 

According to an Us Weeklymagazine insider, the "Vanderpump Rules" cast member and her boyfriend, Brock Davies, are currently awaiting the birth of their first child at the Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Although several hours has passed since Shay first shared a photo of herself in the hospital with Davies, who has been keeping close to her throughout her stay, no news regarding the baby girl's arrival has been shared.

“Scheana is so excited to meet her baby girl,” a source told the magazine. “Brock is by her side and can’t wait to meet their daughter.”

As "Vanderpump Rules" fans may have seen, Shay shared a post on her Instagram page prior to her arrival at the hospital in which she looked back on her pregnancy with a  "pregnancy appreciation post."

"As I quickly approach my due date this weekend I just want to say that I am beyond grateful for this journey I’ve been on for literally almost a year," Shay began.

"I first found out I was pregnant last May, which sadly ended in a miscarriage the following month," Shay continued.

Last summer, after tragically losing her baby to a miscarriage, Shay learned that a number of her "Vanderpump Rules" co-stars, including Stassi Schroeder, Lala Kent, and Brittany Cartwright, were pregnant. 

Then, just 5 weeks later, she was "blessed with my rainbow baby.”

“To the baby I lost, thank you for showing me how badly I wanted to be a mom and I truly believe you will come back to me in my next pregnancy," she went on. 

As her Instagram post continued, Shay revealed that her pregnancy with easy, with absolutely no morning sickness at all. 

"To my rainbow baby girl, thank you for blessing me with the most amazing pregnancy I ever could’ve imagined. Not one day of morning sickness, filled with energy, and although the heartburn has been real, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I cannot wait to hold you in my arms and I will always and forever protect you,” the reality star gushed.

In a post shared to his Instagram Stories on April 26, Davies was seen in a selfie as he reflected on Shay's labor, referring to her as "Wonder Woman."

"Yes helpless... Not hopeless. I also feel useless in comparison to watching such an amazing experience, I was all hands on deck to support Scheana, who was Wonder Woman," he wrote.

"Vanderpump Rules" season nine is expected to begin filming at some point in the coming weeks but a start date for production on the new episodes has not yet been shared.
