The former president of Archewell, Mandana Dayani, has praised Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s kindness and generosity during her 18-month tenure.

She recently shared fond memories, including Meghan hosting meetings with homemade meals for her staff.

Other staff members have come out to highlight the couple’s supportive nature, sharing stories of personal care, gifts, and thoughtful gestures, describing them as the “best bosses.”

The glowing reports about Meghan Markle come after a scathing expose by The Hollywood Reporter that claimed the royal's U.S. staff nicknamed her "Duchess Difficult."

In an interview with US Weekly, Mandana Dayani, a former president of Archewell, shared insights into Harry and Meghan's kindness and warmth.

While reflecting on her time with the couple, Dayani, who held the role for 18 months until December 2022, spoke about the generous and supportive nature of the Sussexes and emphasized how Meghan and Harry’s acts of “kindness, mentorship, and support” usually happen “quietly behind closed doors.”

Recalling some of her fondest moments with the couple, Dayani, who also appeared in the pair's Netflix documentary, highlighted their regular team gatherings at the Montecito residence, stating: “Some of my favorite memories were during our weekly meetings in their Montecito home, where Meghan always served the most incredible lunches, snacks and her latest beautiful concoction.”

Dayani also recalled a memorable moment when she witnessed Meghan sitting on her kitchen floor, making cold calls to senators while feeding her then-five-month-old daughter, Lilibet.

Additionally, Dayani shared a powerful experience traveling with Meghan to Uvalde, Texas, in the aftermath of a devastating school shooting that claimed the lives of 19 children and two teachers.

During the visit, the duchess spent hours with the victims' families, offering support as she moved around the room, embracing and grieving with them individually.

Dayani further shared a personal moment as she prepared for a gala alongside Meghan just before her departure from Archewell.

She recalled: “I walked into their room [and found] Meghan finishing her own makeup and steaming her jumpsuit. We all toasted with a sip of champagne while Meghan danced to her favorite oldies playlist.”

Reflecting on her time at Archewell, the Iranian-born, US-raised entrepreneur expressed admiration for Harry's “humility.”

She contrasted their backgrounds, mentioning how her Kurdish grandmother, who raised seven children and never learned to read, stood in stark contrast to Harry’s royal lineage. Despite the differences, she never felt “less than” or undervalued within the organization.

Mandana also revealed she remains in contact with Meghan and Harry, mentioning a recent conversation with the Duchess about planning a lunch meet-up.

She concluded by emphasizing that Harry and Meghan “are kind, decent, caring people who I am very proud to call my friends.”

Dayani's remarks join a wave of support from staff loyal to Harry and Meghan as the couple continues to face scrutiny over claims made in a scathing expose by  TheHollywood Reporter.

The publication alleged that staff nicknamed Meghan “Duchess Difficult” and claimed that her allegedly demanding nature reduced “grown men to tears” as she matched around like a “dictator in high heels.”

In a show of solidarity, current and former employees have spoken out, portraying the Sussexes as thoughtful and caring employers.

According to the Daily Mail, they shared stories of receiving their children's outgrown baby clothes, fresh flowers, and personalized care packages from the couple.

One notable testimony came from Josh Kettler, Harry’s former chief of staff, who departed after just three months in August, triggering the latest round of negative headlines.

Despite his brief tenure, Kettler described being “warmly welcomed” by both Harry and Meghan and praised their dedication and work ethic, stating, "It was impressive to witness."

Ashley Hansen, the couple’s current global press secretary, also shared a personal story of Harry and Meghan's kindness, noting that they treated her with “the kind of concern and care a parent would express if it were their own child."

“Meghan would personally reach out to my husband daily to make sure that we both were OK and had support," she shared (via the Daily Mail). "It meant so much to him and even more to me. You don't realize how much that kind of kindness and thought means until you need it.”

Another anonymous insider emphasized the couple’s commitment to nurturing their team, explaining that the duke and duchess "water the seeds" to help their employees grow.

Harry, for example, is known to ask staff about their weekends during Zoom calls, and the team regularly plans activities such as karaoke nights and holiday parties.

It was also revealed that no one leaves the couple's Montecito home empty-handed, with a current employee noting: “Whenever staff goes to their house, they leave with a basket with fresh flowers, fresh fruit, fresh eggs.”

Another current employee summed it up, calling Harry and Meghan "the best bosses I’ve ever had."
