Sean "Diddy" Combs is finding solace in the firm support of his children after his recent sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
The disgraced rapper was said to be worried about them as he remains behind bars at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center.
However, Diddy has seemingly managed to talk to some of his children and his mother after his bail petition was denied two times in the past week.
Diddy's Children Stand By Him Despite His Arrest
According to TMZ, Diddy's children are standing by him through thick and thin despite the disturbing allegations leveled against their father. A source told the news outlet that his kids "love their dad and think he's a great father."
Diddy reportedly has a good relationship with them and is looking to maintain it despite being locked up in the Brooklyn facility while awaiting trial.
The "Bad Boy For Life" rapper is the father of seven children: Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, twins D'Lila and Jessie, and two-year-old Love.
Quincy, Justin, Christian, and Chance are all of legal age, but the remaining are still kids.
Diddy's twin daughters, 17-year-olds D'Lila and Jessie, are said to be offering up prayers for him and remain hopeful he will be released from jail. They also have no interest in reading about his indictment.
The girls are reportedly staying in California, where they're being supported by close family friends like Kimora Lee Simmons and their late mom, Kim Porter's longtime friend, Lala.
Diddy Has Spoken To His Kids
According to People Magazine, a source shared that Diddy has "been able to speak briefly to family members and his children via phone" from jail.
"He is very concerned about his kids and their well-being," the insider shared. "He has three minor children, two of whom now have no living parent available with him incarcerated. Four of his seven children have neither parent available with him incarcerated."
The "Finna Get Loose" crooner was reportedly worried for his kids and sought to talk with them when authorities first whisked him away.
Sources told TMZ at the time that although he's holding up fine, he's concerned that his absence from home will negatively impact them. His children Justin and Christian appeared in court to support him during his bail hearing last week.
Diddy Was Slammed With A 14-Page Indictment
Diddy was arrested on Monday, September 16, by Homeland Security Investigators at the Park Hyatt Hotel in New York City following a grand jury indictment.
He has been accused of "creating a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in … sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice."
A 14-page indictment that was released after his arrest alleged that he used his celebrity status and drugs like Ketamine and cocaine to coerce women to partake in drug-fuelled orgies known as "freak offs" and would often record the victims without their knowledge.
The document also showed that authorities discovered and seized three AR-15 rifles and 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant when his Miami and Los Angeles homes were searched back in March.
He has maintained his innocence on all charges and filed a bail motion, but the filing was denied twice last week.
Diddy Accused Of Rape By Another Woman
Meanwhile, Diddy has been accused by another alleged victim of engaging in nonconsensual sex with her at the Bad Boy Records office in New York City back in 2001.
The victim, identified as Thalia Graves, made the filing in a federal court in New York on Tuesday, claiming that Diddy drugged her and, along with his associate, Joseph Sherman, sexually abused her.
"[Graves] was twenty-five at the time and dating one of Combs' employees, a relationship that Combs exploited to lure [Graves] into meeting him and Sherman alone," the suit reads, per Deadline.
"Once they successfully sequestered [Graves], Combs and Sherman gave [Graves] a drink, likely laced with a drug that eventually caused her briefly to lose consciousness. She awoke to find herself bound and restrained."
The Rapper Threatened The Alleged Victim
The filing alleged that Diddy and his coconspirator, Sherman, threatened "repercussions" in the event that Graves reported the incident, particularly noting the possibility of her "losing custody of her son" if she didn't stay silent.
The suit continued, "Because of their enormous power in the industry, including through their ownership of and positions at the Combs Corporations, [Graves] knew that they could follow through on their threats."
Graves, in her scathing lawsuit, also accused the rapper of recording the alleged assault, with her ex-boyfriend disclosing that Combs and Sherman had a pattern of "making those videos available to the public, including by selling tapes as pornography."
