Former child star JoJo Siwa has caused quite a stir online with a new magazine cover photo that saw her pose in gender-bending ensembles.

In a particular photo, Siwa appeared to have a bulge, leading fans to question whether the image was only a bold expression of her fashion style or a deliberate attempt to be provocative.

JoJo Siwa also spoke about what it has been like staying in the limelight, noting that she has forgotten what it looked like to be out in public without people staring or wanting to take a photo with her.

JoJo Siwa Sports A Bedazzled 'Bulge' In New Photos

The "Guilty Pleasure" singer sat down in a new interview with Ladygunn Magazine, where she discussed being a curator of attention and the amount of scrutiny that follows it.

Siwa posed in several edits, looking stunning and exuding the alluring charm she has come to be known for. However, her picture on the magazine's cover displayed a bulge that has set tongues wagging.

The 21-year-old singer and social media influencer donned a rhinestone-studded chest plate shaped like a male torso with a subtle six-pack designed by Kyle Farmery from Sparkyle Studio. She matched the lower part of her ensemble with rhinestone-studded underwear shaped to have a noticeable bulge.

The provocative image has raised eyebrows from people on X (formerly Twitter), with many questioning why Siwa had "a d-ck on."

"Why she got a boner?" a fan asked, with a crying and skull emoji. Another wrote, "Her only way to remain relevant is by shock value and making people talk about her negatively."

A third person wondered, "Did she stuff some socks or wtf ?? but also like WHY??"

"This is weird to look at, I can't quite explain why. But I don't like it. Maybe it's because she still looks like a child to me," someone else penned.

"She's trying too hard. People with real talent shouldn't have to try this hard. She needs a new team," another said.

Meanwhile, a handful of users thought Siwa's look was pleasing and daring.

"How about anyone can wear anything they f-cking want," one fan argued. "How about that? Clothes have no gender. All of these comments prove how controlled people are by gender norms. This has to be that and that has to be this. You can't wear that because whine, whine, whine…"

"Omg, this is soooo camp I'm loving it," someone else wrote.

If anything is for sure, it is that the "Karma" singer sure knows how to use the internet to get her name perpetually on people's lips.

In her chat with Ladygunn Magazine, Siwa insinuated that her extreme and bold style is her go-to preference to get the internet buzzing and that she's prepared to monopolize her image.

"We're here at  [New York] Fashion Week,  even this with LADYGUNN; I was like, I am down, but we have to go somewhere with it," she said. "We can't just do a cool photo shoot and hope for the best. It has to be like, what the f--- is she wearing now? You know what I mean? It has to be what is the next Halloween costume."

The "Dance Moms" alum also discussed the amount of scrutiny that has followed her since coming of age and her relationship with the internet.

"My favorite thing to do on this earth is to entertain and to make people smile and laugh, whether or not they are laughing with me or laughing at me," she said. "Obviously, no one likes being hated, but I enjoy being entertaining, and that is how people are entertained."

Seemingly noting that she can't remember what it means for her to be in public and not get stares or requests for photos, she went on to speak on how she manages to disconnect from her full-time job as a famous person.

"I definitely disassociate well. It's a special talent for sure," Siwa said. "So whatever moment I'm in, I'm in it for that moment. Once it's done, though, I'll be out. You know what I mean? That's the kind of a skill that I've learned over the years and has helped me."

During a conversation on Nova Smallzy's "Surgery" podcast, Siwa opened up about her experiences as a child star in Hollywood. She revealed that she felt "taken advantage of as a kid" and was involved in "shady deals."

"I got f--ked over as a kid and taken advantage of as a kid, but not in a sexual way; it was a business way," Siwa said. "I think that to hear children's dark stories... that child stars were groomed or child stars were in some of the worst cases molested. I mean, it's so sickening."

"But I do have to say that I really appreciate those child stars coming forward, being open about their stories, because that is stuff that I'm lucky that I didn't have to deal with. But it is still going on," she added, per DailyMail.
