Katy Perry has literally transformed into a mermaid complete with a fishtail. The 36-year-old pop superstar is the new celebrity face of Resorts World Las Vegas, with the hotel chain likely paying a pretty penny to have the “Roar” hit-maker update her Instagram twice this weekend for a little promo. Katy was all scales and strapless glitter in photos shared with her 116 million followers, with the mom of one stunning fans as she posed looking very much like Ariel. Check it out below.

Katy, who went aquatic and showed off blonde locks while shot in a gritty indoor setting with yellow-and-black floor markers, was upping the ante with her gorgeous curves, looking a little caught-off-guard and also reclining back to showcase quite the outfit. A blue, silver, and gold mermaid getup was seeing the “American Idol” judge looking like something right out of “The Little Mermaid,” and over 1.4 million fans sent the star the thumbs-up.
A pretty hilarious caption for the photos read: “A tuna behind the scenes of our very soFISHticated @resortsworldlv splash.” Meanwhile, the video, which featured glitzy hotel interiors, came with the bubblegum pop face telling fans:

Katy made 2020 headlines for welcoming baby Daisy with “Pirates of the Caribbean” star beau Orlando, with Perry’s Instagram still suggesting she’s iffy on showing off her baby too much on social media.
“I made a conscious decision to become a mother, but I didn’t know until I became a mother that you have to strike a balance. [Motherhood is] all the clichés and more. Let me tell you as someone who has done and seen everything, there’s nothing better than having a beautiful, pure child,” she told Elle. See more photos below!
Katy, who will deliver a Live Q&A with Amazon Live on April 28, also revealed some lifestyle changes, ones that have come naturally alongside her new motherhood.
“Some things really changed inside of me with having a child and feeling so much love. I don’t feel the need to eat bad foods or drink alcohol as much,” she added.
