Zac Efron split with his model girlfriend, Vanessa Valladares, after 10 months of dating -- but, the story has been overshadowed by a new picture of the actor's face that has the internet going wild!
The 'High School Musical' star stunned the social media world after a picture of him surfaced as part of the “Earth Day! The Musical” program, which aired on Facebook.
Immediately, the actor started trending on Twitter, with many saying his chin looked a bit more squared off and he might have had some work done.

The 33-year-old actor teamed up with Bill Nye and Justin Bieber to bring awareness to Earth Day. But, social media was buzzing about the 'new face' Efron was sporting in the special.
According to reports, Twitter blew up with reactions to the new photo, with one saying, “I refuse to believe this is Zac Efron."
Another added, “I woke up and Zac Efron got botched wtf I'm so devastated."
The photo controversy came on the heels of reports Zac broke up with his girlfriend in Australia, Vanessa Valladares.

According to reports, Zac Efron met Vanessa while she was working at the Byron Bay General Store and Cafe in New South Wales. At the time, Valladares reportedly quit her job to spend time with the famous actor.
In the next few months, the aspiring model was photographed by the actor's side as the duo traveled Australia while he working on "Gold" and the Netflix documentary series “Down to Earth with Zac Efron.”

"Zac broke things off with Vanessa recently. It just didn't feel right to him anymore," a source told People.
Interestingly, despite the relationship ending, apparently Efron has no plans to return to the United States. "Zac will still stay in Australia. He just loves Australia so much," the outlet reported. Adding, "He is working and busy with several upcoming projects. He is happy, healthy and enjoying life."
The story was first reported by Australian radio host Kyle Sandilands, who is friends with Efron.
"Well, it's not just The Daily Telegraph [reporting the breakup] I can also confirm after speaking with him yesterday. Because I heard the rumors...they've gone their separate ways," Adding, "[There was] no drama. It's done. He's back to work."
