'Real Housewives Of Miami:' Marysol Patton Marries Steve McNamara

Marysol Patton is a married woman.

As buzz continues to swirl in regard to the upcoming fourth season of "The Real Housewives of Miami," which is set to air on NBCUniversal's new streaming service, Peacock, Patton is celebrating her marriage to boyfriend Steve McNamara.

On April 23, Page Six confirmed the news of Patton's nuptials, revealing that the former reality star and PR maven tied the knot with McNamara in a small ceremony during a trip to Tulum, Mexico on Thursday, April 22.

“They snuck off and did it just like that,” the source said, adding that the couple said "I do" during a traditional Mayan ceremony performed by a shaman. 

Amid the event, Patton sported a lacy off-the-shoulder white gown and had beautiful flowers weaved through her hair.

As for what inspired Patton to take part in such a ceremony, the Page Six insider said that the event was Patton's way of paying tribute to her late mother, the beloved Elsa Patton, aka "Mama Elsa," who passed away in 2019.

Speaking of Patton and McNamara's wedding ceremony, the Page Six source said, “It was the basis of her mom’s spiritual-religious roots. She felt her mom’s influence guided her to have this kind of ceremony — Elsa is still in charge!”

Although Patton has remained somewhat private since "The Real Housewives of Miami" came to an end in 2013, she did share a short video from her wedding on her Instagram Story shortly after it took place.

In the video, the shaman was seen sitting a series of fresh flowers near some water.

Also in the video, Patton shared a glimpse of her bridal look with her fans and followers as she was seen walking with a red umbrella. 

She also showed off her flower crown in another snippet as Etta James’ song “At Last” was heard in the background.

Following Patton and McNamara's nuptials, the couple enjoyed a celebratory dinner at the Hotel Esencia.

According to Page Six, the "Real Housewives of Miami" star met McNamara about one year ago and weren't actually engaged when they wed earlier this week.

Although Patton and McNamara weren't engaged prior to their wedding, the insider said that their nuptials were no surprise. 

Prior to marrying McNamara, Patton was married to ex-husband Philippe Pautesta-Herder from 2010 to 2012.

After the upcoming fourth season of "The Real Housewives of Miami" was announced in February, another source told Page Sixthat Patton likely wouldn't be a part of the upcoming season. Instead, the series will likely include a number of other ex-cast members, including Alexia Echevarria, Larsa Pippen, and Lisa Hochstein.
