Usher Raises Eyebrows As He Wipes His X Account Clean After Diddy's Sex Crimes Arrest

Usher, real name Usher Raymond IV, has come under fire for wiping his profile on X (formerly Twitter) clean after the arrest of Sean "Diddy" Combs, with whom he has a lot of history.

Diddy was arrested on Monday and charged with multiple offenses, including sex trafficking and racketeering, and is currently being held in a Brooklyn jail.

Usher has previously spoken about his time spent with Diddy, once admitting that he saw "very curious things" while staying in the music mogul's home.

Usher has left many puzzled after completely wiping his X account as his former legal guardian, Diddy, faces severe charges related to sex trafficking and prostitution.

While it's unclear why the singer decided to clear his social media page, the timing has caused several to wonder if it has something to do with Diddy's arrest.

Usher and Diddy worked together for a while when the latter was still an up-and-coming artist. Diddy even produced the "Burn" singer's first studio album, "Usher," and was known to have taken him under his wings as a legal guardian.

With the recent controversies and scandals plaguing Diddy, several stars linked to him have now come under scrutiny for their past association with the disgraced rapper.

This development has also made Usher's decision to clear his X profile feel very questionable to fans on social media. However, Usher's Instagram account is still up and remains untouched.

In a 2016 interview on "The Howard Stern Show," Usher recounted his time living at Diddy's house when he was 14.

Social media users unearthed the video after Homeland Security officials raided Diddy's homes. It shows Usher claiming that the former CEO of Epic Records, LA Reid, suggested he should live with Diddy in Scarsdale to "see the lifestyle."

Stern asked him if Diddy's "place was filled with chicks and orgying nonstop," to which the 45-year-old singer replied, "Not really... I got a chance to see some things. I don't know if I could indulge and even understand what I was looking at."

"It was pretty wild. It was crazy. There were very curious things taking place, and I didn't necessarily understand it," Usher admitted, per Daily Mail.

When asked if he would send his children to "Puffy Flavor Camp," Usher responded, "Hell no!"

Fans have since taken note of Usher's decision to wipe his social media page clean, with many calling out the singer due to the timing.

One individual wrote, "Usher scrapping his entire Twitter history says everything we need to know."

Another said, "If the feds are in need of anything on his page they can subpoena it and either he or Elon will have to turn it over. Suddenly deleting your whole page is crazy."

A third person joked, "Diddy got everybody doing spring cleaning in the fall, lol."

"Celebs really dont want people digging up their past tweets, huh?" another person commented on X.

Justin Bieber is another artist who is currently under scrutiny due to his past affiliation with Diddy.

Since the music mogul's arrest, videos have resurfaced showing the duo discussing plans to spend time together.

In one clip, the rapper claimed he was given custody of Bieber for two days to experience his luxurious lifestyle. At the time, Bieber was still signed under Usher.

"Where we [are] hanging out and what we doing, we can't really disclose, but it's definitely a 15-year-old's dream," Diddy said in the clip while standing beside Bieber.

He added, "I don't have legal guardianship of him [Bieber], but for the next 48 hours, he's with me. We gonna go full buck full crazy."

The details of their time together have never been revealed by either Diddy or Bieber.

On Monday, Diddy was taken into custody in New York following his indictment by a federal grand jury.

Afterward, it was revealed that the rapper was being charged with three major crimes, namely racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

The unsealed indictment also mentioned that Diddy "engaged in a persistent and pervasive pattern of abuse toward women and other individuals," per the Daily Mail.

This included striking, punching, and dragging these women, along with other instances of throwing objects at them.

Diddy is now being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, and has been denied bail twice.
