Megan Thee Stallion has been one of the most dominant artists in the music industry over the last two years as the numbers definitely speak for themselves. With all of the awards and hit singles, the H-Town hottie has plenty to be proud of. On Thursday afternoon though, Megan came through with a very surprising announcement and that is that she will be taking a hiatus from music along with posting content on her own on her social media feeds.

Megan's Management Will Handle Her Social Media Accounts
Megan revealed on Twitter that she will "be back when it's time." On Instagram, she had a post where she was virtually placed into water with a mask on as she is in some sort of hibernation.
"Megan Thee Stallion is recharging! Due to the demands of the Hot Girl lifestyle, Meg has not entered a period of regeneration to prepare for what's next. In her absence, mgmt will manage all social posting on behalf of Thee Hot Girl Coach. [Thee Hotties] lead a brave RESISTANCE in anticipation for the return of their Fearless Captain!"
Fans Believe 'Good News' Deluxe Album Is On The Way When Megan Returns
As for what's next for Megan regarding music, fans believe it is another project. To them, this is expected to be a deluxe edition to her 2020 debut studio album, "Good News." In Meg'sInstagram post, she is seen with the outfit that she had on the Good News cover so that served as a huge hint at this release possibly happening whenever she returns from her hiatus. Good News was released in November and hit No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and went platinum.
Megan Released New Music Video This Month
Prior to this announcement, Megan released visuals for her "Movie" song featuring Lil Durk from the "Good News" album last week. This record wasn't originally a lead single but due to high demand and praise from fans, Megan finally delivered the music video. It consists of plenty of strippers as Megan said on Instagram that she misses Houston so, she brought the city to her for the video. Durk was also given respect online for his contribution to the chorus of the song along with his verse in it.
Megan Won Three GRAMMYS Last Month
Megan is going on her hiatus on a very good note with her music for sure. Last month, she also scored three Grammy wins in Los Angeles at their 63rd annual awards. Megan won in the categories of Best New Artist, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Performance. The song that helped her get the victories for two of her GRAMMYs were "Savage" remix featuring Beyoncé. This record hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart last year as fans had longed for a collab between these two Houston legends.
