Diddy is swapping fine dining for a much humbler menu as he adjusts to life behind bars after his bail was denied.
The rapper, who is known for his opulent tastes, is now stuck with a prison menu that reportedly includes cereal for breakfast and beef tacos for dinner.
The drastic lifestyle change comes after Diddy's earlier $50 million bail offer was denied, keeping him in custody.
No More Gourmet Meals For Diddy Behind Bars
The hip-hop mogul is now adjusting to a far more modest life behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York. Diddy's daily meals are reportedly a far cry from the high-end cuisine he is used to.
Breakfast consists of fruit, cereal, skim milk, and an optional coffee. For lunch, the rapper will choose between scrambled eggs, chicken wraps, or black bean burgers.
While dinner brings options like Salisbury steak or beef and broccoli, sides include coleslaw, biscuits, fruit, and more. On weekends, inmates are served cheese pizza with spinach—a far departure from the gourmet meals of his LA and Miami homes.
The prison, infamous for its tough conditions, has reportedly housed other celebrity inmates like R. Kelly, Fetty Wap, Allison Mack and Ghislaine Maxwell, per In Touch.
Inside The Charges Brought Against The Rapper
The music producer is facing a monumental legal battle after being arrested on September 16 by federal agents. The indictment, unsealed by a grand jury, charges the 54-year-old with sex trafficking, racketeering, and kidnapping.
According to court documents, Diddy allegedly abused and coerced women and others to "fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation and conceal his conduct."
Prosecutors outlined disturbing details, including orchestrated events called "Freak Offs" where women were manipulated into sexual acts with male sex workers. They claim Diddy filmed these videos and allegedly used it to control them.
Adding more weight to the shocking allegations, federal raids on his home reportedly uncovered over 1,000 bottles of lube and baby oil.
The indictment claims that Diddy created "a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in, and attempted to engage in, among other crimes, sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice."
The Music Mogul Made Another Plea For Bail
The father-of-seven made a second attempt at securing bail after his previous request was denied. Court filings showed that Diddy offered to fully cooperate with the government by disclosing his movements and connections if released.
As reported by The Blast, the Bad Boy Records founder's legal team outlined a detailed plan, promising that the security company at his Miami Beach home would provide nightly reports of all visitors to the government.
To ease concerns about witness tampering, the rapper has agreed to limit visitors to family, caretakers, and friends not implicated in the ongoing federal investigation.
The proposal even includes restrictions on female visitors, limiting them to family members such as the mothers of his children, and Diddy has vowed not to contact any known grand jury witnesses.
The Music Executive's Massive Bail Offer
The actor pulled out all the stops in his latest plea for bail, keeping the $50 million he previously offered and agreeing to weekly drug tests in light of drug allegations tied to his notorious "Freak Off" parties.
According to the indictment, the parties were allegedly fueled by a cocktail of drugs, including cocaine, ketamine, GHB, and MDMA. The feds also reportedly discovered narcotics in Diddy's New York hotel room during his arrest earlier this week.
Despite his willingness to comply with stringent conditions, including drug testing, the record executive remains behind bars at MDC Brooklyn, awaiting a judge's decision on whether the new terms will grant him freedom before his trial begins.
Without bail approval, Diddy will stay in custody until his trial.
Diddy Deemed A Flight Risk By Prosecutors
Despite Diddy's previous offer of $50 million collateral, including his Miami Beach home and his mother's residence, prosecutors are not budging. U.S. Attorney Damian Williams labeled the music mogul a flight risk, citing the severity of the charges.
Though Diddy is technically eligible for bail, Williams argued that the seriousness of the alleged crimes justifies detention. He emphasized, "There is a presumption of detention in a case like this, and we think that's warranted."
The case against Diddy was further strengthened by the discovery of numerous weapons during raids on his properties. Addressing concerns over Diddy's safety while in custody, Williams added:
"We are concerned with anyone's safety whenever they are detained prior to trial. It's part of our obligation."
Given the gravity of the charges against Diddy and the refusal of his $50 million bail offer, it seems his days of opulence are on hold indefinitely.
