Jana Kramer is not currently in production on "The Real Housewives of Nashville."
Although the country singer and other members of the world of country, including Jason Aldean's wife and his sister, sparked rumors of the potential Bravo series earlier this month, Kramer shut down the reports on the latest episode of her and her husband's podcast, "Whine Down with Jana Kramer and Michael Caussin."
In a sneak peek provided byPEOPLE, Kramer confirmed she was approached but turned down "The Real Housewives of Nashville" on three separate occasions.
Jana Kramer Previously Considered Joining 'RHOBH'
According to Kramer, she has no interest in joining the cast of "The Real Housewives of Nashville," even though she previously considered taking on a "friend" role on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alongside one of her friends.
"The only reason I entertained the one with [Teddi Mellencamp] was because it could be fun to be someone's sidekick, fun buddy that just kind of comes in," Kramer explained, giving a nod to her potential part-time position she considered on "RHOBH."
The 'Real Housewives' Franchise Isn't The Right Fit For Jana Kramer
"When they were trying to cast 'The Real Housewives of Nashville' and they were interested in me as one of the characters I was just like 'No.' I don't like girl drama, I don't want to be a part of it, I don't want to feed into it … It's not me, I don't like it," Kramer continued.
While "The Real Housewives of Nashville" is out of the question for Kramer, she and Mike Caussin are open to the idea of filming a reality series of their own and have actually filmed a sizzle for the potential program.
Jana Kramer Confirms To Film A Show Based Around Her Own Life
Looking forward, Kramer made it clear that she and Caussin are open to the idea of filming their own sereis.
"We are not saying no to reality TV, we know a lot of people have asked us to do a reality show, it's just about what kind of show it is because I don't want it to be like attacking girls," the country singer explained. "I'm fine with them coming in, seeing our marriage, you know the ins and outs and how we kind of work through it, but still showing the drama."
Jana Kramer Did 'Film Something' With Her Family
As for the suspicious photo of herself filming with her son, Kramer confirmed she did "film something" with her family in hopes of getting the ball rolling on a new show.
"It's just a presentation I don't know if it will ever get picked up, and again I don't even know if it's something that at the end of the day if we will really do, because I know we share so much on the podcast and so much here but sometimes it's the kiss of death," Kramer shared. "So that's something that we have to also think about and be careful of."
