The trials and tribulations haunting Cardi B and Offset are not ending anytime soon, with new nonpayment claims.

The estranged couple was recently named in a lawsuit for allegedly deceiving a mansion owner. According to the aggrieved party, the pair used his property to shoot a music video without consent.

The allegations against Cardi B and Offset couldn't have happened at a worse time with their ongoing divorce and the recent birth of their third child, a baby girl.

The court documents against Cardi and Offset claimed the pair never paid to use the luxurious mansion in one of their music projects. The Beverly Hills property was featured in the music video for "Like What," released in March.

Offset directed the video for Cardi's song; however, the pair and their team allegedly cut corners to use the mansion. The owner claimed reps for the estranged couple told him an unnamed client hoped to film a TikTok video at the property.

Based on the false information, the homeowner discarded the usual rental fee and allowed them to use his home for free. He stressed that if he knew Cardi and Offset planned to use the property for a music video, he would have charged them like other celebrities.

According to TMZ, the mansion was previously rented by Justin Bieber and featured in a Logan Paul music video. Given the popularity of Cardi's "Like What" video, the property's owner asked for over $35,000 in damages.

The Estranged Couple Welcomed Their Third Child Amid Their Divorce

Days before the lawsuit emerged, Cardi and Offset put their divorce drama aside to welcome their third child. The "Bongos" hitmaker announced her daughter's birth on Instagram with a heartwarming carousel.

She shared pictures of her family in her hospital room, with her daughter Kulture and son Wave there to welcome their new sibling. Offset was also included in the dynamic, with a video capturing him cuddling the infant on his bare chest.

Cardi's sister, Hennessy, also appeared in the slideshow, wrapping her niece in her arms. The three-time mom proudly captioned the post, "The prettiest lil thing. 9/7/24," but did not share her daughter's name.

The birth of their third child wasn't the first time Cardi and Offset had prioritized their family over their ongoing divorce. The Blast shared that the pair seemingly called a truce earlier this month when they reunited for their son's birthday.

They threw a spectacular party for Wave at the American Dream water park in East Rutherford, New Jersey, just days before welcoming their third child. Cardi flaunted her baby bump in a chic crop top and baggy jeans, looking happy as she posed with her family.

Offset rocked a similar casual ensemble featuring a gray hoodie, jeans, and a matching blue cap. He shared a tender father-son moment with Wave, who asked him for a lift amid the celebrations.

The 'Up' Rapper Denied Rumors Of Child Support Demands

Before reuniting with Offset for their son's birthday, Cardi set the record straight following claims about her divorce filing. Sources alleged she asked for child support because of her estranged husband's lack of care during their marriage.

The claims came from alleged friends, but Cardi shut down these reports as false in the comment section of an Instagram post. She emphasized Offset's support in her life, writing:

"Ok, this is getting weird cause I can say he helps me a lot with my business and the kids…Never in my career, no matter what I went through, I had friends or family go to the media."

Cardi further clarified her intentions in the divorce filing, stating: "Even with my filing, I'm not askin' for child support. My claim is for him to only pay for the bills he already pays on the kids and the new one."

The famous couple went down the divorce route in August, with The Blast reporting that Cardi had filed to end their marriage. She also demanded primary custody of their three kids and showed no signs of backing down.

Although she filed for divorce when Offset's cheating allegations broke, a source claimed the scandal did not influence their separation. Instead, the pair had allegedly reached the end of their story.

"They've grown apart. That's what drove her to this decision more than anything else. This is something she wants to do," the insider said about Cardi's decision to part ways with Offset.

Will Cardi B and Offset pause their divorce to battle the new lawsuit against them, or will they move forward with their separation?
