Billie Eilish's New Blonde Selfie Is Her Third Instagram Record-Breaking Post This Year

Blondes get more likes... at least that's the case for Billie Eilish!
The "Therefore I Am" singer's newest selfie has become the third record-breaking blonde pic she shared this year. Billie posted a stunning photo of her feathery blonde locks while assumably teasing new music on Monday, April 19. Her piercing eyes and sly grin instantly made the pic a hit on Instagram, racking up over 3 million "likes" in 46 minutes. A record-breaking feat, according to the fansite, Billie Eilish Charts. Two of her previous blonde selfies currently sit on the list of the top ten most "liked" photos on the popular social media platform.

Billie wore a chic, button-down white sweater with a green G embroidered on it. "things are comingggg," she captioned the smiling post.
The picture started gathering "likes" quickly and proved to a thumb stopper. It surpassed 5 million at the time of this article's publishing. The 20th most-liked post has over 14 million, so it still has a long way to go to join her previous posts, but it is one of the fastest posts to crack 3 million "likes."

The title for the most-liked photo on Instagram belongs to @world_record_egg with over 55 million, but Billie got two photos on the list in 2021. The first one came on March 17, 2021, when she debuted her blonde hair for the first time. It received over 22 million "likes" and sits at number 3 on the list of most-liked pics. March 17 is St. Patrick's Day, so she appropriately wrote "pinch me" for the caption because she switched from green to blonde.
A few days later, on March 21, Eilish shared another look with her blonde hair tied up in a messy bun. It sits at 7 on the list with over 17.7 million "likes."

The "Bad Guy" singer was recently pictured hanging out with actor Matthew Tyler Vorce on what appeared to be a coffee date with her dog, Shark. The cozy paparazzi pics come after she alluded to having a boyfriend in the Apple documentary, “Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry,” and the secret may finally be out.
