Take A Look Inside Arie Luyendyk Jr. & Lauren Burnham’s 'Surprise' Baby Shower

The Bachelor star Lauren Burnham “had no idea” that her husband Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr. had plans to surprise her with a baby shower. On Sunday, the 39-year-old shared photos of the surprise party for his wife who is expecting twins, one boy, and one girl.
“Pulled it off everyone! Happy to celebrate you and our babies today ????.” He captioned the series of photos. The couple already shares a daughter, Alessie, 22 months who they ensure fans she is excited to be a big sister.
Lauren Had No Idea
The couple who met on the 22nd season of The Bachelor celebrated with a small group of friends and family. Everyone posed in front of a sign that read “Baby L & S”. Burnham, on her own Instagram page, shared the same photos and wrote, “never been more surprised than I was walking into my backyard today. love all of you ppl so much & @luyendyktwins ???? we can't wait to meet you!” the 29-year-old admitted that she was shocked that her husband was able to pull off such a big surprise.
The Surprise Was Cute
The day featured a bouncy house and food catered by Maple and Ash a local steakhouse and Burnham work a beautiful beige maxi dress with wide flowy sleeves. The couple also took the time to pen a sweet message to their twins on the Instagram account created for them. “29 weeks! Today we spent the day celebrating you two ? I was so happy to surprise Mom with a baby shower and she had no idea!” Luyendyk Jr. also went on to address how blessed they both feel for being pregnant again after suffering a miscarriage.
Arie Has Been Very Emotional About His Twins
The reality star reflected on being able to see the twins for the first time. “I got to finally see your little faces and you two look so dang cute. I have to say I see a lot of your big sister in those pictures but trust me she’s cute so that’s a good thing.” He poked fun at their baby boy who was not quite facing down yet like his sister is. with 9 weeks left the couple could not contain their excitement and neither could their guests.
Fans Are Guessing Names
Some of the attendees of the baby shower shared their thoughts on the big surprise calling it the “best day ever” and commending the proud father for being able to pull it off. As for the huge, can’t miss “L&S” sign, well fans are guessing they are initials of baby’s possible names and have taken to the comments to guess what the couple could be naming their twins.
