TikTok Star Bryce Hall Sued Over Restaurant Brawl

Bryce Hall is being accused of alleged assault and battery of a restaurant owner who claims the TikTok star engaged in "illegal and discriminatory conduct and harassment toward his employees" and allegedly broke his hand during a scuffle.
In court documents, obtained by The Blast, Hernan Fernando, co-owner of the L.A. restaurant, Cinco, is accusing Bryce Hall of a “severe, outrageous, and traumatic physical, racial and emotional attack” after Bryce Hall and his crew allegedly refused to quit vaping on the outdoor patio of the restaurant, and an alleged physical altercation ensued.
Fernando also claims mocked him for speaking Spanish by repeating what he had said in an “exaggerated and mocking tone, mimicking him with his friends”.
According to the documents, Bryce Hall has also been accused of referring to Hernan Fernando as a “wetback” by one of the Cinco staff members, and Hall was eventually “cut off” from drinking and given the boot from the establishment.
Fernando claims when he asked Hall to leave, Hall and his friends went “berserk” and allegedly began “physically attacking and punching."
Fernando specifically called out Hall for allegedly jumping on his back and delivering a choke hold.
According to the documents, a Cinco employee called 911 during the altercation, and Fernando claims Hall’s “obnoxious taunts of money, lawyers, and a desirable zip code were the least offensive post-brawl taunts, and his taunts turned openly racist and discriminatory."
Fernando claims, in addition to his physical injuries, he sustained emotional and psychological injuries such as depression, fear, and anxiety.
He also accuses Hall of using his, "access to the media to spread false, and defamatory information" about the events that took place.
The TikTok star made headlines last year after throwing huge house parties, one of which was ultimately shut down by the Los Angeles Police Department due to reckless behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic.
At the time, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti authorized the City of Los Angeles to disconnect Bryce Hall’s utilities stating, “Parties like these can quickly and easily spread the virus and put our communities at risk.” Hall was eventually charged with a misdemeanor by the Los Angeles City Attorney for violation of the local emergency order in place as well as a noise ordinance citation.
One month after being charged with a misdemeanor, Bryce Hall and his crew were involved in another altercation outside of Mel’s Diner on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. Hall was seen in a witness-captured video of the fight and when asked for comment regarding the alleged attack, he said “We don’t condone violence, but if you punch someone in front of us, we’ll have no choice but to defend ourselves.”
