Taylor Swift and the Swifties are not Lil Pump's current favorite people!
The rapper took to social media with very strong words to condemn the pop star over her recent endorsement of Kamala Harris and her running mate Tim Walz.
Lil Pump used the opportunity to declare his support for the Republican presidential candidate and former president Donald Trump on the same platform.
Lil Pump Accuses Taylor Swift Of Pushing People To Vote For Kamala Harris
The Florida-born rapper had a rant session on his X page targeting Swift and her large fandom following the endorsement.
"Taylor Swift…f— you and your supporters," wrote the 24-year-old on his X timeline. The post has since gathered over 2000 likes with 200+ comments.
He followed up with another tweet that read, "Toby Keith would be embarrassed by Taylor Swift's actions. F—Taylor Swift. RIP Toby Keith. Trump 2024," accompanying it with a USA flag.
"Stop acting like ur so innocent. YOU ARE PUSHING PPL TO VOTE FOR KAMALA! Inflation through the roof andppl are struggling to pay bills. They def won't be able to afford tix to ur shows! She said she will make changes right away, WHYDIDNT SHE THE PAST 3.5 years?" the rapper added.
Lil Pump attached an alleged screenshot of Swift's response to him, which has now been described as fake by the platform's community note.
He concluded his rant by making another post that read, "Anyone betting on Kamala Harris is actually r-tarded."
Fans Reacted To The Rapper's Rant
Lil Pump's tweet prompted different opinions from users on the platform. A commenter thanked him for "fighting for Trump" and described him as "awesome." This X user wrote:
"Little pump not to be that guy but it's pronounced Kamala not Kamala."
"KAMALA IS A COMMUNIST! Anyone who votes for her simply doesn't know COMMUNISM and they will be very sorry about it once living in it. Once you get in it you're a prisoner. Ask Cuba… it's been over 60 years. How theydoin?? Ask Venezuela .. they're shooting people in the streets," another person declared.
Another seemingly addressed the doctored image issue and wrote, "You know Taylor Swift wouldn't take time out of her day to post about you…. right lol," as this person added:
"It takes like 25 seconds to see she hasn't tweeted on here in a while and you think she would pop on just to say that..about you? I have to laugh."
Swift Described The Vice President As A Gifted Leader
The Blast noted that the "Blank Space" singer tagged Harris as a "steady-handed, gifted leader" in her endorsement post on Instagram. She continued writing:
"I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos."
Swift's kind words also extended to Walz. The director expressed that she "was so heartened and impressed" by Harris' decision to pick him as her running mate.
She noted his record of standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman's right to her own body for decades" as her reasons for admiring Walz's person. The pop icon continued in the post, stating:
"I've done my research, and I've made my choice. Your research is all yours to do, and the choice is yours to make."
Swift encouraged first-time voters to register and vote early, adding: "I'll link where to register and find early voting dates and info in my story."
Swift Came Under Fire For Sharing A Hug With Brittany Mahomes
Swift's endorsement was perfectly timed, as it came after she was heavily criticized for cozying up to the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes' wife. The performer happily hugged Brittany at the U.S. Open on Sunday, dispelling earlier reports of bad blood between them.
A faction of the Swifties reportedly expected Swift to sever ties with Brittany after she quietly showed her support for Trump. Their decision to sit in separate suites during Chief's game against the Baltimore Ravens also raised more dust.
Brittany, however, rose in her and Swift's defense and subtly addressed the Swifties opinion in a cryptic post which read, "Contrary to the tone of the world today…you can disagree with someone, and still love them. You can have differing views, and still be kind."
Kamala Harris Slammed Donald Trump's Post About Taylor Swift
Lil Pump apparently followed in Trump's footsteps after he opened the floor by tweeting, "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT" on his Truth Social platform on Sunday.
The Blast reported that Harris's team did not give Trump a free pass on the controversial post. Her campaign team, via her spokesperson Sarafina Chikita, released a statement using Swift's track titles and lyrics. According to Chikita:
"The American people want to be Out of the Woods of the chaos and division of the Trump era, leave behind the Blank Space of Trump's broken promises, and Begin Again by electing Vice President Harris to ensure America's future of opportunity is Long Lived."
The team continued that the voters are very aware of how Trump's hazardous "Project 2025 agenda" will pan out if he wins. Chikita encouraged voters to make sure Trump never gets the chance to jack up "taxes on the middle class and ripping away American's freedoms."
The statement concluded with Harris's team declaring, "We can make sure The Story of Us is one of progress—and show Donald Trump we are not going Back to December of 2020. Like ever."
All attention seemed to have shifted towards Taylor Swift as the election plot thickens. Who is coming out next? Time will tell!
