Chrissy Teigen is BACK on Twitter after taking a few weeks off of the social media platform, claiming she just couldn’t live without it.
The supermodel shocked fans and followers after splashing back onto her Twitter page, less than a month after she claimed to be leaving the platform due to its “negativity.”
According to Teigen, one of the reasons she is also back on Twitter is the realization she doesn’t want to be “silenced” by people who were attacking her on social media — and it sounds like she is going to continue to air her political and personal views.
See Here First Tweet Back!!
“Turns out it feels TERRIBLE to silence yourself and also no longer enjoy belly chuckles randomly throughout the day and also lose like 2000 friends at once lol,” Teigen wrote in her first Tweet.
She continued, “I choose to take the bad with the good!!”
In a follow-up tweet, Teigen was back to her old self and joked “spent weeks just saying tweets to shampoo bottles” describing having nowhere to share her thoughts.
John Legend’s 35-year-old wife announced her return on Friday, just in time to get in a full weekend of tweeting!

As we reported, Chrissy originally quit the social media platform, claiming it was filled with negativity. At the time, Teigen made a point of saying the company itself was not to blame for the situation.
Chrissy, who has 13 million followers on the platform, claimed it “no longer serves me as positively as it does negatively.”
“No matter what you see, what that person portrays, or your intention. For years I have taken so many small, 2-follower count punches that at this point, I am honestly deeply bruised,” she continued.
Adding, “One thing I haven’t learned is how to block out the negativity… But I love you guys and I cherish our time together, I truly do. I also hate you.”
There’s More…
After leaving the platform, Chrissy shared a message on Instagram where she admitted she would have to “come to terms with the fact some people aren’t gonna like me.”
“I hate letting people down or upsetting people and I feel like I just did it over and over and over, someone can’t read that they disappointed you in some way every single day, all day without physically absorbing that energy. I can feel it in my bones,” she continued.
Let’s be honest, it’s also a huge asset to her cookbook business and other projects in Entertainment — being able to access such a large audience at once.
