Sofia Vergara likely didn't set out to be compared to another celebrity as she stripped to a string bikini, but her April-shared Instagram snap nonetheless sparked Selena Gomez comments. Ushering in summer on her Toty sunscreen and skincare brand's Instagram, the 52-year-old showed off her bombshell figure with a '90s throwback, reminding fans of her Miami modeling days while saying she wished she'd used Toty "back then." Dropping jaws in a minuscule black bikini, Sofia sizzled all sunkissed in her tiny bathing suit, and it looked like fans had thoughts.

Accentuating her chest via a feminine lettuce trim below the bust, the Modern Family alum tugged up her stringy briefs while lifting her chin, oozing confidence and showing off her stunning features.

Sporting highlighted blonde hair that blew around in the ocean breeze, Sofia flashed her abs while flaunting a golden tan, also wearing only stud earrings for accessories.

Pouting a little while wearing summery foundation and bronzer, Sofia Vergara drove fans to shop her 2023-launched brand, writing: "I wish I had @toty back then."

While some fans gushed over Sofia's looks and others expressed curiosity over her product, a popular comment took things in a different direction. Likening Sofia to billionaire singer and beauty founder Selena Gomez, one fan replied: "Looks like Selena Gomez." Over 100 others liked the comment. "Seems like nobody understood your comment, but I agree with you. I see the resemblance," one user replied.

The comment sparked a wave of replies that quickly turned into fans comparing the two Latinas. Given that the feed is mostly frequented by Sofia Vergara's fans, though, it's of little surprise that this crowd thought she's the better-looking one. "Selena Gómez is VERY ordinary. Telling Harper's Bazaar that nobody ever told her to shield her skin from the sun in her youth, Sofia Vergara shared: “I wish I had made that decision sooner also for the rest of my body, but I didn’t. I just thought to save my face, and that was it. So, I haven’t had my face in the sun without protection since the ’90s."
