Cardi B Announces The Birth Date Of Her Third Child: 'Prettiest Lil Thing'

Cardi B's third baby is here, and she is proudly Virgo!

The rapper made the joyous announcement of the birth of her third child with her husband, Offset, on Instagram. According to the date of birth, the amazing event happened five days ago.

Cardi B announced her pregnancy on Instagram last month, alongside news of her divorce filing from fellow rapper Offset.

The rapper shared pictures from her hospital room as she cradled her newborn in her arms, smiling brightly. The new mom donned a brightly colored maternity robe paired with jet-black hair and pink nails to match her baby's pink outfit, hinting that she had a baby girl.

She also included pictures of her two kids, Kulture and Wave, spending time with the new baby.

Though currently estranged, Offset did not miss the birth of his newborn. He appeared on the slide not once but twice, including a video of him cuddling the infant on his bare chest.

Cardi B's sister, Hennessy, also appeared in one of the slides as she wrapped her niece up in her arms. The "Bodak Yellow" rapper captioned the post with, "The prettiest lil thing. 9/7/24."

Fans and celebrities have swarmed the rapper's comment section as the post gained over 1 million likes barely 20 minutes after she put it up.

Rapper Yungmiami commented, "Congratulations," as Teyana Taylor added, "Congratulations, mama."

One fan wrote, "The media can say what they want about Cardi b but she is a great mother," and immediately countered those who had a lot to say about Offset's presence in the hospital noting, "Offset is the father of her baby so y'all expect him not to be there because thats not y'all business."

"Omgggg that was fast lol Congrats sis! Love you always," this user wrote seemingly referring to the timeframe between her maternity shoot post and birth announcement.

Another fan admired Cardi B's commitment to "giving birth & still giving looks…" and another commenter applauded her, writing: "Congratulations! You rocked that pregnancy."

By all indications, the artist seemed far gone when she posted her pregnancy announcement on the gram on August 1st. The Blast noted that the rapper opted for a red hit ensemble with a matching red fur coat and showed off her protruding belly in the shoot.

She wrote an emotional caption that highlighted her current situation and stance despite the rollercoaster in her marriage at the time. Cardi B described the pregnancy as a "new beginning," adding that she was glad to share the season with her unborn child.

"You have brought me more love, more life, and most of all, renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all! You've reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion!" she added.

The rapper declared her love for the child and expressed her eagerness for the baby "to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do!" She concluded her statement by writing:

"It's so much easier taking life's twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it's worth it to push through!"

Things appear to be running smoothly between the couple, who put their differences aside to celebrate their son Wave as he clocked three.

The Blast reported that they threw their son an elaborate birthday bash at the American Dream water park in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Cardi, who put to bed three days after the party, showed up in a cute crop top and baggy jeans combo. She tucked her pink hair under a furry hat as she showed off her baby bump.

Cardi and Offset posed for pictures with Kulture, Kiari Cephus, and Offset’s three kids from previous relationships — Jordan, Kody, and Kalea.

Wave was seen requesting his father pick him up as the celebration went on, an indication that both parents are navigating their new normal with all maturity.

The Grammy-awarded rapper addressed rumors surrounding her divorce, particularly reports that she was demanding child support in the proceedings.

The news allegedly came from close friends in her circle who claimed that she left Offset due to lack of support. The rapper was spotted in an Instagram comment section on The Jasmine Brand's page and wrote:

"Ok, this is getting weird cause I can say he helps me a lot with my business and the kids…Never in my career, no matter what I went through I had friends or family go to the media."

She clarified that she did not ask for child support in her filing and reiterated that her "only claim is for him to only pay the bills he already pays on the kids and the new one."
