According to The Hollywood Reporter, after having his conviction for sex crimes in New York overturned, Weinstein is now facing a new set of indictments in the same city.

On Thursday, a grand jury allowed Manhattan prosecutors to prosecute additional charges against the disgraced Hollywood mogul in relation to a set of sexual assault allegations from three accusers.

For the indictment, Weinstein was missing from court after suffering an earlier medical emergency that led him to be rushed to Bellevue Hospital in New York for heart surgery. He was previously being held at the Rikers Island jail complex prior to the health scare.

Weinstein is expected to be arraigned on the charges at a later date, possibly after he has received medical clearance.

The additional charges that Harvey was indicted on remain under seal, leaving the identities of the victims unknown.

However, Matthew Colangelo, the prosecutor, had previously shed some light on the allegations during an earlier hearing.

According to the New York Times, Colangelo revealed that one of the claims involved sexual assault, which took place at the Tribeca Grand Hotel.

Then, the second sexual assault allegedly happened during the 2005 to 2006 "winter season" at a residential building in Lower Manhattan, in either Tribeca or SoHo.

Colangelo also shared that a third sexual assault incident occurred in May 2016 in a Tribeca hotel.

The prosecution is now expected to consolidate the indictment as they move forward with the case.

In the meantime, Weinstein will continue to recover in Bellevue Hospital's prison ward following his surgery.

It comes after Judge Curtis Farber granted the defense's motion to hold Weinstein there rather than return him to Rikers Island.

According to his attorney, Arthur Aidala, Weinstein currently has "some sort of shunt in his chest" alongside other medical apparatus being attached to him. He also shared that the 72-year-old is still making use of artificial oxygen to breathe.

While making his argument, Aidala also claimed that holding Weinstein at Bellevue would "stop what may be the death of Mr. Weinstein" and that his health could not be properly monitored at Rikers Island.

Over in the United Kingdom, the Crown Prosecution Service dropped two charges of indecent assault against Weinstein, as they believe there is "no longer a realistic prospect of conviction" on the matter.

The charges were authorized in June 2022 and are based on alleged offenses against a woman, with the incident reportedly occurring in 1996.

"Following a review of the evidence in this case, the CPS has decided to discontinue criminal proceedings against Harvey Weinstein," Frank Ferguson, head of the CPS' special crime and counterterrorism division, said in a statement, per THR.

He added, "The CPS has a duty to keep all cases under continuous review and we have decided that there is no longer a realistic prospect of conviction."

According to the Daily Mail, Weinstein's estate suffered more decline due to his legal troubles and retrial after his 2020 rape convictions were overturned.

The convicted sex offender was reportedly worth around $300 million before he was sentenced to over two decades of jail time in 2018.

Experts now say that amount has since dropped to around $25 million due to a combination of personal, business, and legal reasons.

"Following Harvey Weinstein's rape, sexual misconduct and assault charges, he no longer owns the empire he once did," Southern California financial expert Jack Cohen told the publication.

He added, "Between the legal fees, divorce settlements, and child support, in addition to currently being imprisoned and not being able to conduct any business or produce income, I estimate his current net worth to be around $25million, which is a huge drop from his past worth of between $240million and $300million, when he was at his peak of his career and very successful."
