Megyn Kelly Has Massive Meltdown Over Taylor Swift's Endorsement Of Kamala Harris

Megyn Kelly had a meltdown on her podcast over Taylor Swift's decision to endorse Kamala Harris for the upcoming 2024 presidential election.

She heavily criticized the singer's reasons for supporting Harris, which included her choice of running mate, Tim Walz, who supports the LGBTQ+ community and IVF.

In her rant, Megyn Kelly also called Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, "elite snobs" who only care about money.

Swift publicly endorsed Vice President Harris in the upcoming 2024 presidential election, which triggered Kelly to go on an angry tirade on her YouTube show "The Megyn Kelly Show."

The video was posted right after the debate between former President Donald Trump and Harris. In it, Kelly said, "You can kiss your sales to the Republican audience goodbye, Taylor; hope you enjoyed them while you had them."

Swift's post endorsing Harris came after the debate and included a subtle dig at Trump for sharing AI images of her and a mocking note for J.D Vance, who called women in the Democratic Party "a bunch of childless cat ladies."

The "Wildest Dreams" singer's post included a photo of her posing with one of her cats, and it read in part, "I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election."

Swift added, "I'm voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos."

In her YouTube show, Kelly analyzed Swift's lengthy statement, in which she revealed that Harris' choice of running mate contributed to her decision to support the Democratic nominee.

Harris chose Walz, who's known for his strong support of LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, reproductive rights, and women's rights to autonomy.

The former "Today" host also said that despite past backlash for her criticisms of Swift, she would speak her mind and call out the singer for highlighting Walz in her statement on Instagram.

"I'm allowed to criticize Taylor Swift and I don't give a sh-t who gets upset," Kelly raged, per Deadline. "This is disgusting. If she wants to vote Harris-Walz, she can do it all she wants but to say the reason she is doing it is because of Tim Walz's stance on LGBTQ, eff you, Taylor Swift."

She added, "And eff all of the people who want to see these children have body parts chopped off and watch them sterilized under the age of consent and then will ride off to their multi-gazillion dollar mansions, never to think of them again."

During her wild rant, Kelly also shifted her attention to Swift's football star boyfriend Travis Kelce.

She called the couple the "elite snobs" with "gazillions of dollars." The TV host also claimed that Swift doesn't care about American children and called out Kelce's promotion of COVID-19 vaccines.

"This pair, Taylor and her boyfriend Travis Kelce, are the epitomes of elite snobs," Kelly said, per Deadline.

She continued, "They both have gazillions of dollars. She doesn't care what happens to these kids, just like he doesn't give a sh-t what happens to all the young men who take the Pfizer booster he's been pushing on them."

Former Donald Trump has since criticized Swift for endorsing Harris. During his appearance on "Fox & Friends," the billionaire politician claimed that he was never a fan of Swift's music and preferred her friend Brittany Mahomes, who has recently shown support for him.

Mahomes is married to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, a close friend of Kelce.

He said, "I was not a Taylor Swift fan. It was just a question of time. You couldn't possibly endorse Biden…But she's a very liberal person. She seems to always endorse a Democrat, and she'll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace."

Trump then praised Mahomes, claiming she's "a big MAGA fan." He added, "That's the one I like much better than Taylor Swift."

On his Truth Social platform, the ex-president previously thanked Mahomes for "strongly defending" him and "the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful Political Movement in the History of our now Failing Country."

Swift has previously criticized Trump, condemning the ex-president's comments regarding protesters in 2020.

The singer tweeted at the time: "After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? 'When the looting starts the shooting starts'??? We will vote you out in November."

That same year, Swift posted a photo of herself holding a tray of freshly baked cookies with the words "Biden/Harris 2020" written on them with blue, white, and red frosting.
