During a dinner that took place in a colleague’s home, the actress pressed an unknown button that caused a ruckus halfway through dinner.

An Awesome Dinner Invite
In Hollywood, it is not uncommon for a star to invite other stars to his or her home for dinner or a late lunch, even if they only met on set.
During a discussion with Drew Barrymore on her show called “The Drew Barrymore Show,” Sedgwick mentioned that Cruise invited her and Bacon to his home for dinner.
She went on to reveal that during that time, Cruise and her husband were in the process of filming “A Good Men.” Naturally, the dinner invite was a great time to bond.
Tom Cruise Owns A Home Panic Button
Sedgwick revealed to Barrymore that she was very pregnant at the time, but decided to honor the invite.
During dinner, she noticed a button under a mantle, and decided to press it. To her utter disappointment, nothing happened and that was when she called Cruise’s attention to it.
The actor was shocked when he disclosed to her that, that was his home’s panic button. In a few minute, about five cops arrived at Cruise’s home and that was when the actress knew what she had done.
Although the situation was resolved at the end, Sedgwick jokingly told Barrymore that she was never invited to the actor’s home again.
