The 'RHOBH' Cast Reveals Their First Impressions Of Crystal Kung Minkoff

Crystal Kung Minkoff joined the cast of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" for the series' 11th season in 2020 and after Monday's official announcement regarding her addition, her new co-stars revealed their first impressions of her. 

In a video shared by the Bravo Insider, the returning members of the series shared their thoughts on Kung Minkoff, who has been married to filmmaker Rob Minkoff, who has directed a number of memorable films, including "The Lion King," "Stuart Little," "Stuart Little 2," "The Haunted Mansion," and "The Forbidden Kingdom," since 2007.

“So far, I think Crystal, you know what? I think she probably things we’re crazy but she fits in," Erika Jayne explained. "I mean, he has a big personality. She’s a lot of fun. She doesn’t take herself too seriously and I think we’re going to have a good time with her. She’s very tall, which I think is so elegant and beautiful. I think she’s a lot of fun. Her house is really beautiful. [Her husband] is a good time. I think everybody is going to really enjoy watching Crystal.”

“I like her. I think she’s strong. She’s tall. She’s 5’10”, which is what surprised me more than anything," admitted Lisa Rinna. "She’s very statuesque. Her kids are really cute."

According to Rinna, she loves Kung Minkoff's husband and agrees with cast mate Jayne in her thoughts that viewers will love meeting the new cast member when the show premieres on Bravo next month.

"I love her husband. I’ve met him now, I think twice. I think you’re going to love Crystal," she teased.

"My impression of Crystal when I first met her is sweet, tall, not a lot of makeup, she’s going to learn the hard way. She just seems like a great girl, great mom, and I can’t wait to get to know her more," Garcelle Beauvais explained. 

Dorit Kemsley also appreciated that her new co-star is a mom.

“She’s cool. She’s easy to talk to. She’s fun. She’s a mom of little ones. So obviously her and I have some things in common," Kemsley shared. 

As for the thoughts of the series' longest-running cast member, Kyle Richards, she revealed that she and the newbie actually have a lot of friends, including her sister, Kathy Hilton, in common.

"My first impression of Crystal is she is smart. She is funny. She is beautiful. She is really tall. She’s opinionated," Kyle began. 

"And I know so many people that know her," she continued. "We have so many mommy friends in common. My sister Kathy is friends with her. All over the place. For some reason, we’ve never met. But I’m excited to get to know her and I think that you will be too."
