Rita Ora In Sheer Nude Dress Told To 'Put Some Clothes On'

Rita Ora dazzled at this year's Met Gala, but her see-through dress saw her slammed by her own Instagram followers. In May, the 33-year-old showed off her killer figure in a skintight nude dress, marking her attendance at the NYC-held event on social media and seemingly rubbing some fans up the wrong way. Flaunting her jaw-dropping curves as she went skintight, Rita rocked the sheer trend for another show-stopping look, one praised by some, but frowned on by others. Despite earning celebrity likes from stars including Vanessa Hudgens and Kelly Ripa, Rita was told to "put some clothes" on, with another fan calling her look "weird."

Flashing a barely-there bra beneath her gown, the British music star added pops of color from beaded detailing, opting for pastel shades. With some of the beads forming floral details, Rita honored the Gala's Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion theme, but for some, she was showing just a little too much skin.

Rocking a pale blue flower shape around her belly and a smaller green one around her nether regions, Rita accessorized her dress with a white shaggy stole in faux fur, adding heeled sandals, plus drop earrings that coordinated with her dress. In a caption, the Primark collaborator wrote: "Still buzzing from my 10th MET Gala and I’m forever grateful for the unforgettable moments! Thank you @buccellatimilan for the gorgeous jewellery to complete my look! What a dream! Thank you for having me. Swipe to the end for things you don’t see."

"Put some clothes on," one fan replied. "Why do women feel it’s ok to dress half naked, no, 98% naked in public?" another asked.

Fans may have critiqued Rita Ora's Met Gala look, but they seemed more than happy as she stripped down to the above bikini last month. On August 31, Rita sizzled from an ocean ladder as she modeled a triangle string bikini in green, highlighting her shredded abs and killer cleavage while on vacation.

Celebrating Instagram's new 20-slide limit, the "Let You Love Me" hitmaker wrote: "How can I put the last month in one post? Also, when could you have more than 10 photos in one post? This is very good news for me."

Making sure she was one of the first celebrities to share a bikini snap on Instagram this year, Rita Ora sizzled in the above look for her January share, showing off her incredible figure in selfie mode. Rocking shades and her light locks down, the starlet wrote: "2024 thus far… prepping for the best year yet!"
