Kate Beckinsale Told 'See-Through' Underwear Inappropriate 'Around Kids'

Kate Beckinsale has received backlash for her pooch party look, even taking to the comments to defend her outfit. On August 19, the 51-year-old actress shared Instagram photos and videos from a Pomeranian party she'd attended, one filled with dogs and the family presence that seemed to irritate the user commenting. Showing off her quirky sense of style and her slim figure, Kate stunned in a skimpy white shorts and blouse look, however with her shirt coming sheer, fans were able to check out the star's underwear. Accusing Kate of wearing see-through undies around kids as the footage showed little ones at the bash, the fan didn't hold back.

Scroll for the photos. Posing indoors and holding her dog as two others next to her did the same, Kate flashed her long, toned legs in a flimsy white pair of summer shorts and a matching sheer shirt. Channeling her love of girly outfits, the Pearl Harbor star smiled while rocking a bow in her hair, also showing off pink-tinted locks worn down. Kate flashed a white bra beneath her shirt, then showed off more of the party and her outfit in a swipe right.

Sharing footage of the vast guest attendance complete with plenty of Pomeranian owners, Kate fit right in with hers as she showed off outdoor footage at the event, plus more moments showing off her look. One slide featured the British star holding her four-legged friend and perusing an array of cupcakes on a table. Here, Kate was seen near young children. In a caption, she wrote:

"Well that was a first ... @empirestateofpoms was a Pomeranian bonanza and thank you so much for having us at your first Los Angeles Pom party, @prettyconnected. I am perturbed that out of all these dogs, Myf’s bumhole was sniffed avidly more than anyone else’s but I am choosing to take it as a positive." Comments didn't take long.

While some fans commented on Kate Beckinsale's weight as she continues to make headlines for being much slimmer, others found something else to talk about. Over 20 fans liked a comment reading: "Is that a see-through bra? Around kids?"

Swooping in to reply, Kate said: "No it isn’t and when you say kids do you mean dogs? They don’t tend to notice bras unless they’re chewing them out of the laundry but mine doesn’t do that."

This wouldn't be the first clap-back from Kate Beckinsale this summer. In July, the actress wound up front-page news for shutting down a troll remarking on her weight loss.

When a fan told Kate to do some "squats," she confirmed that her weight loss was down to "grief," having watched her stepfather "die" as her mother suffers from Stage 4 cancer.
