Britney Spears Tugs Down Shorts For Summer Popsicles Cheer

[Britney Spears is eyeing a summer of sunbathing and popsicles and she's spreading the good cheer. The 39-year-old pop princess took fans back to photography project "Project Rose" last night, posting for her 29.3 million Instagram followers and in the peasant crop top and shorts look that made so many 2020 headlines. Sharing a rare backyard video, the Grammy winner also went with her signature teeny-tiny shorts for a little tug-down, with the footage further seeing the blonde thank fans for their support. Scroll for the video, one that Spears confirmed was from last year. If you don't live inside Britney's Instagram, the feed was, in 2020, subject to massive scrutiny as repetitive posts largely showing Spears in her floral crop tops and flower hair crowns were deemed not self-posted by the #FreeBritney movement.

Sharing one more look from the lawns and trees setting in her home, the "Circus" singer stunned fans with a deep gaze and in an off-the-shoulder, blue-and-white crop top, briefly wiping her hair out her face and tugging down on her shorts.

Britney, who clocked over 900,000 views to her video overnight, took to her caption saying "this video for Just a Touch of Rose was shot last year..."

"These specific takes have never been seen so it's sort of new to me !!!! I have over 10 minutes of video for the Rose project and trust me that's A LOT ???!!!! Happy to share especially with a world that is empathetic and concerned with my life ... what can I say I'm FLATTERED ??‍♀️ !!!" she added. See more photos after the video.

Spears continues to fight 68-year-old dad Jamie Spears in her 2008-commenced conservatorship, with the drama also heating up as Britney responds to February-released documentary "Framing Britney Spears." Eyeing up better times, the singer added:

"Here's to another beautiful summer of popsicles and sunbathing ☀️☀️☀️??? !!!"

Britney has already been sunbathing this month. Just yesterday, the singer appeared on 27-year-old boyfriend Sam Asghari's Instagram stories, peeping her bikini-clad body as her hunky man prepped for a pool dive. Britney warned the sun was about to "die." More photos below.

Two aspects of the singer's Instagram have been going #throwback. Alongside Britney interrupting her sheer shirt and panythose "RED" phase by returning to "Project Rose," the bombshell has been dropping major family throwback action, also including former boyfriend Justin Timberlake. A belated birthday post for 30-year-old sister Jamie Lynn Spears recently included ex Justin, with Instagram going wild over the former couple. The post also saw Britney challenge her "Sweet Magnolias" star sister to a wrestling "rematch."
