'RHONJ' Star Dolores Catania Says Teresa Giudice Is 'So In Love,' Talks Marriage

Dolores Catania has high hopes for Teresa Giudice's new relationship with Luis Ruelas.

During an appearance on Hollywood Life's TVTalk on Instagram, the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" cast member shared her thoughts on Ruelas before weighing in on his recent meeting with Giudice's ex-husband, Joe Giudice, in The Bahamas.

“I’ve met Luis. He’s an awesome guy,” Catania confirmed during the interview days ago.

Catania then said that when it came to Giudice's recent appearance on "Watch What Happens Live," it was clear she is completely head over heels.

“I saw [Teresa] on ['Watch What Happens Live'] and [Andy Cohen] had asked her and this girl is so in love she can’t smell bacon…I’m so happy for her,” Catania explained.

Catania is even hoping to see Ruelas put a ring on Giudice's finger, saying, “I’m so happy and I hope that she gets married again.”

Giudice and Ruelas first went public with their relationship at the end of last year, months after Giudice's split from Joe was finalized after a 20-year marriage.

Not only does Catania want to see her longtime friend with a ring on her finger, she wants to see it happen sooner rather than later. In fact, she told Hollywood Life that it would be great if it happened "tomorrow" because “he’s an amazing human being and I want to see her happy.”

“I want to see someone love her the way he does and it’s such a beautiful thing,” she added.

As for Giudice and Ruelas' recent dinner date with Joe in The Bahamas, which also included her four daughters with Joe and his two sons from a previous relationship, Catania hasn't gotten the low-down quite yet.

“I haven’t spoken to [Teresa] about [the family trip with Luis] yet. I like to speak to her in person. Me and Teresa aren’t phone people. We’re very busy, but when we get together — I can tell you just by looking at it, it went amazingly well,” Catania said.

Catania went on to explain that because she has known Joe for so long, she wasn't surprised to see that he and Giudice were able to remain on good terms post-split.

Catania then said that Giudice's oldest daughter, Gia, described the event perfectly on social media. 

“I loved Gia’s caption — All together, but in a different way. The kids seemed happy and thrilled and I think for kids it’s such a load off their chest that both their parents are OK with moving on,” she explained.
