Carrie Underwood and her cheese-grater abs have been receiving suggestions that she's suffering from an eating disorder – the comment landing on the 38-year-old fitness queen's Instagram today didn't stay live for long, though. On Monday, the "Southbound" singer and Fit52 founder updated with the mother of all shredded abs as she posed for a stunning, no-makeup gym selfie, with fans taking no time to dub the blonde the fitness inspo that she is. One remark, however, did not send the thumbs-up. Check it out below.

Scroll for the photo. Carrie, whose power-house voice won her "American Idol" back in 2005, is now seeing her power-house body make as many headlines. In 2020, the star launched both her "Find Your Path" diet and exercise book plus the Fit52 app, one that's proven wildly popular and now includes 2010-married husband Mike Fisher.
The stunning snapshot, fuss-free as usual, showed Carrie in selfie mode and in a powder-blue sports bra and matching leggings. Space between the two showed one insane set of abs.

Sending out mega smiles as she posed in pigtails and backed by equipment, the CALIA by Carrie founder stunned fans as she wished everyone a "Happy Monday," adding: "Hope you all have an amazing week!" The Fit52 logo was included, with a caption shouting out the brand. "Starting the week off right with a @fit52 workout! Who's with me? #MondayMotivation," Underwood wrote.
Fans, who have been backing Carrie since she nervously auditioned in front of Simon Cowell all those years ago, largely sent the thumbs-up.

While one fan replied: "Damn," and "Holy fit" also came in, so did a remark mentioning anorexia nervosa. "You borderline look like you have anorexia," the user bluntly wrote. The comment appears to have been deleted, although it's unclear whether the user removed it or Carrie.
Oddly, this wasn't the only negative comment. "Do you feed this much attention? Posting everyday...," a bitter hater wrote. "Why are you following her? Most IG post every day," a fan replied with an eye-roll emoji. See the deleted comment below.

Carrie made 2020 headlines for a raw and honest reveal, one seeing her admit to a brief period of self-starvation following her 2005 "American Idol" win. Online message board trolls writing: "Carrie's getting fat" had eaten away at the singer's confidence, with Carrie then telling Women's Health that she starved herself on just 800 calories a day. The average woman needs 2,000 calories per day.
Carrie let her "haters" become her "motivators," also admitting to logging elliptical time and checking food labels. The star is now the picture of health. Scroll for her stunning bikini body!
