The 33-year-old addressed Goldberg’s comment about still owing people money and wondered why she got to stay in the United States. She declared:

"While you are entitled to your own opinions, you should at least get your facts straight. I served my time and paid everyone back in full three-plus years ago. Looking forward to your on-air correction. Stay nasty ladies, but don’t forget to vote Sept. 17!"

Delvey was released from prison in February 2021 but was held under house arrest at the order of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, a federal agency of the United States Department of Homeland Security.

The house arrest is reportedly on until she finds out if she can stay in the US, but a judge has given her special permission to travel to Los Angeles to compete on "DWTS."

Delvey will also get to share her time on the show on social media with her fans following the lift of her ban last month.

Her defense attorney explained in her plea that the "social media restriction served absolutely no purpose in mitigating any flight risk or threat to the community that Ms. Sorokin may present and clearly violate her constitutional rights."

The star was excited about the decision and noted that it would give her an opportunity to rewrite the false stories surrounding her arrest. She said:

"I would like to thank the United States government court system and especially my lawyers, John Sandweg and Catherine Hunstad, for fighting for my First Amendment rights. I'm also grateful and thrilled to be able to control my own narrative once again on social media."

Anna Delvey is undoubtedly focused on rebranding her image, and it is obvious no false narrative will be tolerated!
